In a museum, you can't be against the rules, or you may be  and someone will even punish you. At last, it's safer to visit museums with your parents. 

My grandfather came to visit us from Japan. He was only1 with us for one month. So I planned many things to2 him around. Where did I start? The Museum of Nature! Why? It's right in our neighbourhood. It's very3 for us to get there at any time.

 Build your fire only in a right place. Check on the conditions of the area before going there. Also, never build a fire when it's too dry or windy. 

 You should stay at least 100metres away from wildlife. Getting too close could be dangerous. Don't feed animals anything. Human food isn't good for them, and becoming reliant(依赖的) on humans is dangerous for them. They may forget how to survive in the wild or become less afraid of humans.

The Chongyang Festival is an important and famous Chinese festival. People celebrate it on the (nine) day of September in the  lunar  month. In 2025, it falls  October 29th. 

The festival has a long history. Chinese people believe that the meeting of two nines means  long life. So it is a special holiday for Chinese people (show) love and respect for their elders. People hold all kinds of (activity) to wish them a long life and good health. 

The festival comes during the golden days of autumn. On the day, people traditionally drink chrysanthemum wine(菊花酒), eat special cakes climb mountains. They also carry a kind of plant (call) dogwood. People in ancient times thought that the plant could drive the (ill) away in winter and keep them away from trouble.

What is the Golden Week in China?

Golden Week is one of the longest holidays in China, usually lasting from October 1st to7th to celebrate China's National Day. During this holiday, Chinese people love to travel a lot. which makes it the busiest time for the tourism industry.  They go shopping, eat at nice restaurants and watch movies at theatres.

The Lantern Festival is a traditional festival in China, when people light lanterns, set off fireworks(放烟花), eat yuanxiao and enjoy family time. But do you know how this festival started? 

In the Han Dynasty, there was a man named Dongfang Shuo. He worked for the Emperor(君王) Wu of Han. One day, Dongfang met a crying maid(宫女) named Yuanxiao in the emperor's garden. He asked her what happened. And the maid said she was sad because she couldn't see her family. 

Dongfang promised to help Yuanxiao. He left the garden and went to the street. He started telling people that a big fire would happen on the 15th day of the first lunar month. It was the order of the Jade Emperor. Word spread(传播) quickly and people in the city were afraid. 

The Emperor Wu of Han heard of it and asked Dongfang for advice. Dongfang advised him to let Yuanxiao make glutinous rice(糯米)balls for the God of Fire to make him happy. He also advised everyone in the city to put up red lanterns and set off fireworks to create an illusion(错觉) that the city was on fire. Seeing this, the Jade Emperor would not set fire. 

On the special day, the city was full of people and lanterns. Yuanxiao's parents were able to meet up with their daughter in the crowd. The city was safe, and the Emperor Wu of Han was happy. He ordered that every year on this day, people should make glutinous rice balls and hang lanterns. 

From then on, the 15th day of the first lunar month has been called the LanternFestival or Yuanxiao Jie. Since Yuanxiao cooked the best glutinous rice balls, people called the food yuanxiao or tangyuan.
