Do you feel anxiety (焦虑) during a big test? It will help you perform at your best. However, if your anxiety becomes so great that it influences your performance (表现) , then you need to learn how to overcome test anxiety.
Answer the easy questions first.
Just start by putting your name on the paper. You have to start somewhere. Take a quick look at the paper. Then answer the questions you think you know.
Start by deleting (删除) answers you don't think are correct. You might not know the correct answer right away, but you can look at the answer choices and find one or two that you know to be wrong.
Skip (跳过) and mark questions that you don't know.
Circle or mark these questions so you remember to come back to them.
Keep yourself calm.
Look around and notice each of your five senses. Name something you see, hear, smell, feel and taste. This might sound like a woo-woo method (方法) but it reduces anxiety in the moment.
Use 4-7-8 breathing.
Breathe in through your nose for 4 seconds, hold your breath for 7 seconds, and breathe out through the mouth for 8 seconds.
