There was a well-known artist named Wen Tong during the Song Dynasty（宋朝）. He was famous for his paintings of bamboo. Wen Tong is the (great) bamboo painter of all time. Why was he so good  drawing bamboo? Well, he loved bamboo. He painted only bamboo. He also studied how it moved and how it (grow) in different weather.

In ancient China, there lived a great musician named Bo Ya. He was famous for his skill in playing the guqin, a traditional instrument. However, Bo Ya often felt lonely because he didn' t 1 that anyone could truly understand the feelings in his music.

Many parents want their kids to grow into successful and happy adults. An 85-year study from Harvard University, which followed over 700 successful people, shows one surprising reason: chores matter a lot. But it's not just doing chores. It's why and how kids do them.

A wild wolf in Qinghai's Hoh Xil National Nature Reserve（可可西里国家级自然保护区）has become a popular Internet star, winning hearts with its close connection to humans.

Usually, people think wolves are one of the most dangerous animals, but this Hoh Xil wolf is different. Months ago, travelers found it weak and alone by the road. Kind drivers gave it food like eggs and bread, and slowly, the wolf started to trust people. Now, it waits happily by the road for passing cars. It even wags（摇）its tail and lets people touch it, looking peaceful and happy.

Word spreads online, and more visitors come just to see it. They share snacks kindly, and the wolf doesn't disappoint anyone——sometimes it even brings other weak wolves to share the food, letting them eat first. Many people take photos with the wolf and post them on the Internet. These sweet pictures get lots of likes all over the Internet.

It's me！

My name is Li Hua.

Everyone has a family name. In China, the family name is the first name, but in English countries, the family name is the last name. So how do English people get their family names? The followings are some interesting answers.

Today is Parents' Day at our new school. Some parents of students from Class 5, Grade 7 come to visit（参观）. The class teacher, Mrs Wang, welcomes them and introduces the school and students' school life to them. Then she shows them around the school. 

The parents love the school very much. They like different places for different reasons（理由）. 

Mr Lin, Lin Tao's father, loves the smart whiteboard in the classroom best. It is the first time for him to see it. "It's smart and it is great for teaching and learning, " he says.

After the visit, all the parents are happy. They think their children can have a beautiful and happy time here.
