Mrs March covered Amy with quilts. She soon fell asleep. Then Jo asked, " Are you sure she'll be okay. Mum?" 

" Yes, it's a good thing you got her home so quickly. " 

" Thanks to Laurie. Oh, it's my fault! I became angry so easily. Why can't I be more like you?" Jo added.

Different people have different (兴趣)and hobbies. Some people like collecting (邮票) or coins. Some like swimming or  (航海), But I like taking photos. I have been interested in it. since I was in primary school. It brings me lots of (愉悦) and makes me relaxed. Now as a high school student, I'm very busy. But I will go out to take photos as long as I'm free.

As one of the country's most popular cartoons, Boonie Bears released its latest film, Boonie Bears. Time Twist, on February 10th, the first day of the Year of the Loong. 

The new story tells us about Vick, a former logger(樵夫) who leaves the forest to take a higher-paying job as a programmer in a big city in the south of China. However, while accompanying his boss on a visit to a client's house, Vick unexpectedly discovers a secret, which sets him on a time-travel journey to rescue his bear friends who are in danger. 

Lin Huida, the film's director, said that he and his fellow creators have put their experiences and thoughts from their own lives into the new tale, including what they have got from their experiences in the workplace. 

In the film, Vick is like most young people who leave the small town to look for success in cities. The beginning scenes in the movie show his endurance(忍耐力) of office stress, including overtime and a difficult boss, and show how much he misses his friends in the town near the forest. 

Li Daoxin, a professor of the School of Arts at Beijing University, said the new tale skillfully combines(结合) science fiction elements with social problems, making it a breakthrough when compared with nine films before. 

A hurricane(飓风) is a huge storm that forms over warm ocean water. Hurricanes have winds that move a circle. Hurricane winds are very (power), and can move at speeds from120km/h to over 300km/h. 

The centre of hurricane winds (call) the eye. Winds in the eye are not very strong. Around the eye is  area called the eye wall. The wall is where winds are (strong) and rain is the heaviest. 

Strong winds and heavy rain can do a lot of damage(破坏) when a hurricane moves over land. 

Hurricane winds normally can be strong enough (break) windows into pieces. The winds can even knock over tall (tree), which might fall on buildings or cars. Strong winds can pick up objects and send (they) into the air. causing damage. 

Heavy rain from a hurricane can cause floods in areas that are not close to a coast. The floodwater can be very deep. It sometimes (reach)almost up to the top of houses. Water goes into the houses (quick) and sweeps away people and things. Wooden structures might not be safe after a flood. 

Although there is no way to prevent a hurricane. you can get prepared for it.

Recently, 16-year-old Cao Chenzhe from Jiangsu, gave 5, 000 yuan to the Disabled Persons'Federation(残疾人联合会) to help children. The money was for his (勇敢的) act of using the Heimlich maneuver(海姆利希急救法) to save a classmate's life. 

Cao clearly remembered the (经历). It was a (多云的) day. He was having dinner at the school canteen. His classmates were playing (玩笑) on each other. Suddenly, he saw a classmate's face turning purple.

Travelling around the world can be exciting, but it can also lead to culture shock and feelings of stress. 

When I moved to Tuscany, Italy, right after college, I was enamored by the scenery, Who wouldn't be? The rolling hills, beautiful buildings and delicious food made the long flight worth every minute. I was excited about my new beginning, But then, I started to notice little things. 

As an American, we are used to a bit of personal space. In the US, knocking into someone or standing very closely is considered rude. This is different from the truth in Italy. 

Since this was before translation apps were common, I would feel helpless sometimes for not knowing the language. However, Italians like to speak with their hands——a habit I've carried over to this day. 

Of course, just because you've experienced culture shock in one country doesn't mean you won't do so in another. 

Years later, when I moved to China, my experience was special. The culture there was something very foreign to me-down to how to buy things. Before moving there, I had never heard of WeChat or Alipay. I wasn't prepared at all for how important these things would be. 

Experiencing small waves of culture shock reminds me that I am travelling around the world and that I should appreciate what I'm taking in.

How to Live a Healthy Life

Nowadays, more and more people have come to focus on teenagers' health. The followings are my opinions about how we teenagers live a healthy life.

That isn't just a funny joke, It's based on a real2 . One day before the Shenzhou-16 crew(乘组) went into space, China made public(公开) the names of 3 three astronauts. One of them, a man wearing glasses, got tons of attention. His name is Gui Haichao. He works as a college professor.

Every year on April 24th, it's Space Day of China. It's a day to celebrate the country's growth in space exploration. The manned space missions(载人航天任务) are a big part of it. 

What problems do astronauts face?

In space, astronauts face many problems. There is little gravity(重力) there, which affects their bodies.  What's more, if something goes wrong on their mission all of a sudden, they have to work out how to fix it under huge pressure. That's why astronauts have to be smart, strong, and ready for any challenge before they can go to space. 

How are astronauts trained?

"To make sure that Chinese astronauts complete their missions and return to Earth safely, over 200kinds of training are set, " said Huang Weifen, the chief designer of the project.  So before astronauts can go to space, they get training like these for at least three and a half years. 

 This helps them get ready for the weightless environment in space, Huang explained that astronauts wear diving suits(潜水服) that weigh more than 100 kilograms and stay underwater for six hours at a time. She said that it was quite hard. For example, Nie Haisheng even lost 2 kilograms after one underwater training exercise.

②Stomach flu is one of the most uncomfortable common diseases. It spreads easily, which can make it hard to avoid. That's especially true if someone in your family has it. Stomach flu is caused by a virus, but not the same one that causes common flu. There's no medicine to make it go away at once. But there are some things you can do to avoid catching it. 

③You can prevent stomach flu by washing your hands often. Use hot water and soap to wash your hands. Using soap is better than using nothing, but it doesn't work very well against stomach flu. That's because soap can't kill viruses completely. 

④The virus that causes stomach flu is hard to kill. So stronger cleaners(清洁剂) are needed. Mix bleach(漂白剂) with water, and use that to clean your house. If someone in your family is sick, remember to clean the things the person has touched. 

⑤Machines like dishwasbers and washing machines are better at killing viruses than washing by hand. That's because they keep the things you wash hotter for longer. But many viruses can live in your machines, so wash them with hot water and bleach often. 

⑥However, if you do get stomach flu unluckily, don't worry. Have a good rest and drink as much water as possible, and you'll feel much better soon. But don't think everything is OK. Even though you feel better. __. You can still spread it for a few days, so you need to stay at home for some more time. If you have a fever, wait at least 24 hours after it ends before going out. This will help protect other people from getting sick. 

⑦Stomach flu is awful, but by following those tips above, you can keep away from it. 

Little New Year is an important festival in Chinese culture. It always (fall) around one week before the Spring Festival. It (know) as the Festival of the Kitchen God too. In the northern part of China, people celebrate it on the 23rd day of the (twelve) lunar month, while in the southern part of China, people celebrate it on the24h. Chinese (family) believe that the Kitchen God will go back to Heaven before the Spring Festival to tell the Jade Emperor about different activities of every family. So the family members gather  the kitchen, where the Kitchen God's picture is put up, and offer him food and drinks. Then  picture is removed and burned. marking the Kitchen God's journey to Heaven to report on the family's behaviour. The Jade Emperor (punish) or reward the family according to the Kitchen God's report after that day. 

Little New Year is also a time for family (get) together. People travel long distances to be with their loved ones enjoy a special meal together. The meal often includes (tradition) dishes like niangao and yuanxiao, which are symbols of wealth, reunion(团聚)and happiness. 

Little New Year expresses Chinese working people's longing(渴望) for a better life.

There was a boy whose mother died while she was giving birth to him, Every year, as Mother's Day was coming, he would be overcome with sadness. He 1 his mum so much.

With no plan, you have much freedom. You can change your routes at the drop of a hat! You will be happy when you get surprises during your trip. With no plan, nothing can go wrong. So you don't have to worry when a bus doesn't come on time, or when you get on the wrong train. Just relax and go with the flow. 

 It is all about finding the right balance between the two, and we need to find out which one works better for you.
