Churchill, in Northern Canada, is the polar bear capital of the world, There are about as many polar bears people in the town. 

The town of Churchill and the bears have lived together (peaceful)for 300 years. People in Churchill think that they have the( comfortable)relationship with the bears in the world. However, climate change has made coexistence(共生)  ( difficult) than before. The ice season in Hudson Bay has got much ( short)than before, and this has made it diffcult for bears to find food in spring and autumn. So, many bears are hungry and look for food in Churchill. 

There is  program to make bears and humans coexist. The idea is not to hurt the bears,  to make them scared of people so that they can run away. There is also a special bear" cage(笼子)" . If bears don't leave, people will put them in the cage and send them back to the tundra( 苔 原 )  (careful)by plane. 

November is one of  (danger- ous)months in a year because polar bears often break into houses and even hurt humans to find food at that time.  (lucky), most of the bears are sub-adult males. "Teenagers, "said one officer. "They're the ones that get into trouble. "
