AI has brought great changes to the protection of Dunhuang's culture relics(文物). First, it allows real-time watching of environmental conditions, such as temperature and humidity(湿度), which are very important for keeping the murals safe. Second, AI can study large numbers of pictures to find cracks(裂缝) and other problems clearly. For example, an AI system can find small changes in the colors that human eyes may not see, helping workers deal with problems early. Third, AI helps make repair plans by using old records and similar cases, making sure the repair work is kept as it was. 

While AI provides powerful tools, it is important to use it in a responsible way. Conservators(文物修复师) must follow the rule of not changing too much. AI should not take the place of human skills but work with experts to help make decisions. Also, AI tools need to be based on solid research, so that the results are reliable and do not cause further harm to the heritage. 

The future of Dunhuang's heritage protection looks promising. With continuous improvement in AI technology, we can expect clearer and more practical protection methods. However, the key to success lies in combining technology with human care. Only in this way can Dunhuang's amazing art and history continue to shine for generations to come.
