To offer teenagers proper career guidance (指导), the students from Tianjin TEDA No. 1 Middle School started a project called "Dian Zhi Cheng Shi". "Our survey shows that 75 percent of students want to know more about different jobs. Doctors, accountants (会计) and lawyers are the top three," said Wang Xinran, 16, the project leader.

Based on students' needs, the team interviewed (采访) 32 experts in different fields and put their interviews online. They shared true stories behind each job, allowing students to learn about the jobs clearly. "We also invited the experts to give speeches in our school in order that students could talk to them face to face," said Wang.

Team member Lu Jinyan said his most impressive (印象深刻的) interview was with a photographer (摄影师). "I used to think being a photographer was cool. But now I know that they need to deal with lots of problems, such as a sudden change of weather or broken cameras. They also need to communicate (交流) with different people, which is very hard."

But the project doesn't mean disappointing students by telling them the truth. "We want to show their good sides rather than the bad sides," said group member Zhao Yajie. "The project's name means turning a career into a poem. We believe working is not just about bread and butter. It should be like a poem, full of love and beauty. And we hope our project can let students know that."

In the past, I didn't get on well with my parents. I hardly talked to them, because they liked to compare me with my sister. And that made me (happy) and sad. I didn't know what to do. Sometimes I even argued with (they) about this.

However, I wanted to show them that I could do things as (good) as my sister. Then I (begin) to spend most of my free time painting in my bedroom.(Lucky), my art teacher, Miss Green, offered me a lot of help. She taught me some drawing skills to help improve my paintings. At that time, she was the only person I would like (talk) with.

One day, I told Miss Green about my problem. She encouraged me to take part a painting competition.

After a few (week), the result finally came out. I got first prize! When I took the prize home, my parents were so happy that they couldn't stop laughing all the time! Molly Bremner is very short and thin, but she has a heart as big as the sky.

The nine-year-old girl is from Melbourne, Australia. She likes running in her free time. And she has been running for as long as her mother Angela can remember. "When Molly started walking, she was at one speed (速度), which was full speed," Angela said. "She didn't walk. She just ran everywhere." Usually, from Monday to Friday, Molly runs 6 km a day after school and on weekends she runs 21 km.

Molly now can run 42 km in five hours and 59 minutes. And when she goes for her normal 21-km run, it's like a slow walk for her and it takes her two hours and 45 minutes. She doesn't get out of breath and talks to her mother the whole time.

Molly's big sister Lucy, 12, is also sporty. She is fit and healthy, but she's not a runner like Molly.
