It was really a special day to remember.

Today we went on a school trip to a farm! It was tiring but great fun! In the morning, we explored the farm. There were large tents with tomatoes, cucumbers and many other fruits and vegetables. The farmer told us about how these fruits and vegetables go from the fields to our tables. I was very interested because I usually only see them in the supermarket.

Then we got straight to work! First, we picked some strawberries. The work seemed easy, but it took time to get it right. Slowly, we filled many baskets. In the afternoon, the farmer taught us how to cut branches and leaves from tomato plants. This helps them to grow more fruit. Finally, we watered the plants. Plants need so much work! It was tiring, but I enjoyed working with my hands.

One thing I learnt today: Farming isn't easy! Today was really a day to remember.

Mary is a 10-year-old student. She likes having healthy food, such as milk, vegetables, fruit and so on. She is upset these days because she has to eat hot dogs, pizza and potato chips at her school. She believes that it is important for schools to provide healthy food choices for students.

Health experts agree with her. School lunch programs should stop offering foods high in fat, salt and sugar. They want to protect children from eating too much unhealthy food. But nowadays, over 15 percent of children in America are overweight. Poor diet and overweight can lead to some diseases. Many of the foods offered in school are "killer" of the students' health.

Actually, many schools have already provided students with healthy food, but simply offering them healthy food is not enough. Most kids prefer junk food to healthy food. Schools and parents need to tell children to choose the right food both in and out of school. Kids should understand that popular snacks and drinks are often high in fat, salt, or sugar.

Of course some kids already seem to know all of this. "The junk food is delicious," says 10-year-old Tim. "But my parents tell me that if I eat healthily now, I'll have strong bones when I get older."

The electric (电动的) air taxi eVTOL finished its first flight (飞行) in South China's Shenzhen on February 27th, 2024. The electric air taxi just looks like a plane, but it is different in some other ways. It is not very heavy, and it can only carry five people at a time. Many people are excited after knowing about the air taxi. Why?
