Yang Zhenning was a famous physicist （物理学家）.Born in Hefei，China，he died on 18 October 2025，at the age of 103.He loved science from his early years and worked very hard in school. 

In 1957，Yang made history with another scientist，Li Zhengdao.They found a mistake in an old science rule that people had believed for many years.For this great discovery，they won the Nobel Prize in Physics （诺贝尔物理学奖）.They were the first Chinese scientists to get this important award. 

Yang taught for many years in the US，but he never forgot China.When he returned to teach at Tsinghua University，he did many important things to help Chinese science.He started new research centres where young scientists could work together.He helped students learn how to do better experiments and write good science papers.He also worked with the government to make science classes more interesting for students.Many young scientists loved learning from him because he was always patient and kind. 

Besides his Nobel Prize work，Yang created the Yang-Mills theory （理论）.This theory helps scientists understand how the smallest parts of our world work.People remember him as both a great scientist and a wonderful teacher who inspired many young people. 

Yang's life teaches us that great scientists are also great people devoted to their country and to helping others.He will always be an inspiration to students everywhere.
