Of course, AI does not eat with its mouth. Instead, it"eats" information. When it reads true and useful content, it becomes more intelligent. It can answer your questions, write poems, or help you learn science. This is like eating a healthy salad. 

However, there is a lot of"rubbish" on the Internet today.  We can call this" junk data. " A new study shows something very worrying. When AI reads too much of this junk, it gets a kind of"brain sickness". 

The scientists found that the AI became less clever very quickly. Its ability to think dropped significantly.  It also lost its memory. Imagine forgetting 30% of everything you learned in school!

The most serious part is that this damage is lasting. With humans, if we eat poorly, we can start exercising and eating healthy food to recover. But for the AI, the damage cannot be fixed. Even when the scientists tried to teach it again with good data, the AI remained broken.

Colors in nature can be created in two main ways. The first is through pigments(色素). Pigments show the color of the light they reflect(反射), not the light they absorb(吸收). For example, the most common pigment in plants is chlorophyll, which makes leaves look green because it reflects green light and absorbs blue and red light. Interestingly, there is no"true blue"pigment in the plant world. 

The second way is through"structural color(结构色)". This happens when the surface structure of an object influences how light is reflected. Have you ever noticed rainbow colors on a CD or a soap bubble? Those colors appear because of tiny structures that only allow certain colors to reach our eyes. 

Blueberries use structural color to appear blue. When ripe, the berries are actually dark, but they are covered with a very thin layer of wax(果霜), only about four-thousandths of a centimeter thick. This wax layer interacts with light in a way that makes them look blue to us. This blue color helps the plant because birds are attracted to bright and rare colors. They eat the berries and help spread the seeds to new places.
