It was a winter morning in Beijing, and it was very cold that day. I was on my way to work and wanted to cat something to warm me up.

Then I saw an old woman selling youtiao and doujiang (soybean milk). Youtiao smelled good. I was also surprised at how cheap it was.

As soon as I tried youtiao,  ▲     . It was delicious, salty and sweet. After that I ate youtiao every day on my way to work in the morning.

Foreigners like youtiao probably because it's similar to some other foods that are popular in foreign countries. In the US, there is a type of food called cruller (油饼). It's a sort of doughnut (甜甜圈) with a long and thin shape like youtiao. Spanish food churro (西班牙油条) is also like youtiao. People in Malaysia and Vietnam also like to eat youtiao and they eat it with milk tea or noodles. In Indonesia, they eat it with porridge.

Youtino can be even better if you add some other things to it. Chocolate or sugar can give it a new flavour. I like to cat it with coffee or tea as well. It is one of my favourite Chinese snacks.

A great French writer says we should help others because we also need others' help. And the small can also 1 the big. The writer tells the following 2 about this.

Do you get on well with your parents? Sometimes you may feel that it is very hard because of the generation gap (代沟). 1 they are probably your best teachers in life. Here are some tips for you to improve the relationship if you find that you and your parents can't get on well.

●Spend time with your parents. Your parents won't be always with you, so spend time with them while you are able to. This doesn't mean just sitting 2 the TV together. Instead, you can find some common interest and do some activities together.

●Talk with your parents. To know your parents better, you should try to have 3 talk with them. Use this time to learn about their different hobbies and opinions.

Exercise is good for our body and mind.If you want to keep healthy，let's try together.

I love sports because they make me healthy and happy.I  (usual) get up early to exercise.Today when I get to school in the morning，I see some of my classmates are on the sports field.They are in different  (group) and play different kinds of sports.I can also see many sports items like baseball (glove)，jump ropes，volleyballs and exercise mats over there.They belong different students.

I like playing volleyball，so I am on the volleyball team.Look，my team (be) over there.We can play volleyball very well.And we play many (match) together.Sometimes we win and sometimes we lose，  we always have fun.After the games，we share  (snack) and stories.We are not just teammates (队友)，but also best friends.I am so happy to be part of this volleyball team!

Jog indoors. To get out of cold weather of winter，you can simply jog indoors，probably in the living area of your room.

Now people get less aerobic exercise than before.One of the problems is the Internet.In some countries，for example，most people use the Internet for at least four hours a day，but only spend 27 minutes taking exercise.Lots of doctors are worried about that.They say if people don't exercise often，they may be tired，unhappy even unhealthy.

Schools are teaching kids to exercise when they're young.PE is a sports subject.It teaches students how to play and exercise.Teachers and parents wish kids to learn good exercise habits (习惯) and keep them when they get older.

Aerobic exercise is now being promoted at work.Many companies (公司) have sports programs，exercise rooms and so on.People can do better in their jobs if they often get aerobic exercise.
