Bamboo is one of nature's most (amaze) plants. Many people call the plant a tree, it is actually a kind of grass. It can grow back quickly after being cut short, like other kinds of grass. A Japanese scientist once (report) a bamboo plant that grew 1. 5 metres in just 24 hours!
