There was a man named Zhou Chu who lived during the Western Jin Dynasty (265—316). He was very strong— stronger than any other man in the village. 

But he wasn't kind or friendly. Instead, he often bullied villagers. So people were scared of him. At that time, a man­eating tiger and a deepwater monster lived nearby. They often caused trouble for the village. People called them, along with Zhou, the "three evils" (三害). Among them, Zhou Chu did the most harm. 

One day, some villagers asked Zhou to help them kill the tiger and the monster. After three days of fighting, Zhou finally killed them and came back. But the villagers thought he was dead. They celebrated his death. To their surprise, Zhou Chu returned. After knowing what the villagers did about his death, Zhou knew how much he was hated and decided to make a change. 

He was afraid that he was too old to make a change. So he went to visit two famous brothers Lu Ji and Lu Yun. But he only met Lu Yun. Lu told him, "If one realizes what is good in the morning, he can change his behavior (行为) in the evening. Just do what you think is right. " From then on, Zhou became a good person and stopped bullying others. Later he became a great soldier and died protecting his country. 

Nowadays, we are able to try some special sports. Skin diving (潜泳) is one of them. But it's an old sport. People began to do it about two thousand years ago. 

This sport is usually full of fun. It's very cool to go under the water in hot weather. It can take you into a wonderful new world. It is like a visit to the moon! When you are under water, it is easy for you to climb big rocks, because you are not heavy any more. During the day, when there is much light, everything is blue and green under the sea. If fish swim around you, you can catch them with your hands. 

To catch the fish is one of the most interesting parts of this sport. And you can clean the ships, but you don't have to take them out of the water. You can get many things from the deep sea. Now you can see that skin diving is both useful and interesting. 

If you think you have tanks of air on your back, you can swim freely under the sea— you are wrong. You must learn many diving skills. If you don't feel well or the water is too cold, stop diving. It's dangerous. It's really dark under the sea, so you must watch carefully before moving. Also, there are sometimes dangerous sea animals. So be careful.

I came to China as an exchange student in 2008. I have worked in China for six years. Now I am1 in Chinese culture. 

I fell in love with it all by accident. One day, I saw some people writing Chinese characters with ink brushes. It was so amazing. Later I came to 2 many Chinese calligraphers(书法家), such as Wang Xizhi of the Jin Dynasty.
