1、 阅读下列短文,从下面每小题所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中,选出最佳选项。
A team of clever engineers, data scientists and nature scientists are restoring wild areas hit by natural disasters. By using drones (无人机) together with artificial intelligence (AI), they can plant seeds 25 times more quickly than doing it by hand. AI is a computer system that can "think" and perform tasks usually requiring human intelligence.
In a foreign country, flooding and wildfires are becoming more common as the climate changes. Extreme weather (极端天气) can make whole living areas disappear in a short time, and it takes years for trees to grow back and ecosystems to recover. When disasters happen, people often replant by hand, but this is slow and difficult.
AirSeed uses AI-controlled drones to airdrop special seed parcels (种子包裹). Each seed parcel is designed to fit its drop area. The place is recorded — geo-tagging — so people can check the task's success. Andrew Walker, AirSeed's boss, says, "We have to restore forests over 30-40 years. We can't do that with traditional ways."
This mix of AI, drones and biotechnology helps reforest faster. AirSeed can drop as many as 40,000 seed parcels a day — 25 times faster and 80% cheaper than hand-planting. When trees return, everything else improves. Walker says, "It's not just about planting a tree. Trees support wildlife, make air clean and restore soil."

Dolphins often jump out of the waves and turn in the air. It looks like fun, but it's also hard work. So why do they do it? Scientists have found several reasons.
Dolphins live in groups and use sound to stay in touch. Underwater, it's hard to see far, so when a dolphin jumps and hits the water, the loud noise tells others where it is. Some can turn up to seven times in one jump!
Jumping also helps with hunting and cleaning. The splash (水花) can-drive fish together, making them easier to catch. And when small fish called remoras (鲫鱼) stick to dolphins, a good jump can knock them off.
Besides these practical reasons, dolphins are smart and playful. They may jump just for fun, sometimes playing with other animals or even humans.
Finally, water creates drag — a force that slows things down. Jumping into the air lets dolphins travel faster, helping them get away from danger or catch food. They can jump as high as a giraffe, up to six metres!
So next time you see a dolphin jump, remember: it might be talking, hunting, cleaning, playing, or just having a good time.
(1)、How do dolphins communicate by jumping?A、Catch food. B、Turn in air. C、Make loud noise. D、Knock remoras off.(2)、What can the splash from a dolphin jump do?A、Remove small fish. D、It helps them faster.(4)、What can we infer about dolphins from the passage?A、They live alone underwater. B、They like cleaning themselves. C、They enjoy playing with others. D、They jump higher than a giraffe.(5)、What is the main idea of the passage?A、Where dolphins live. B、How to protect dolphins. C、How to watch dolphins swim. D、Why dolphins jump out of water. -

Do you like to read comic books? Do you know Captain America? How about Spider-man?
A comic book is a book made up of a series of pictures. The art and words are called "comic",but that doesn't always mean "funny"
Rodolphe Topffer was a teacher, but he also developed several comic strips which were published in different places in 1827. These were all drawn carefully by hand. Topffer wrote in horizontal (水平的) blocks in his own handwriting. This became the standard (标准)
Here, artists loved the idea and developed the technique of using travel in their comics, which were always popular. The French also took part in comic strips, while there were still others who stuck to single comics that were going down the page in the book-instead of horizontal blocks.
Comics started to become popular in the 20th century. Comic strip artists have often used art to "make fun" of very serious subjects. Even when they were not "making fun", they used comics and characters to deal with serious topics.
Comic books continue to be popular, but over time, many of their characters have also been pictured in television shows and in movies.
A. Other artists don't like comic strips.

C. Comic strips became popular in France.

In early March 2026, an open-source Al tool called OpenClaw became very popular in China. People call it "the Lobster" because its icon is a red lobster. It started a nationwide trend called"raising lobsters"-that means installing(安装), setting up, and customizing (定制) the tool. Thousands of tech fans waited in line for free setup in Shenzhen and Shanghai, and paid set up services also became popular online quickly.
Unlike common chatbots like ChatGPT, OpenClaw is made to do real work. It can run locally on many operating systems and works well with everyday office software. It can automatically do data analysis, edit documents, and fix code, acting as a useful "digital worker". This change from just talking to doing things has made people want more compatible devices (设备); Apple's Mac mini, a good choice for local use, has sold out all over the world Big tech companies like Tencent and Baidu have added one-click setup to make it easier to use, and local governments have made helpful policies to support related research and new ideas.
However, fast growth also brings big risks. China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has warned that wrong setup may cause cyberattacks and data leaks (泄露). Because of his risk, some big international companies have stopped using OpenClaw at work. Also, people who use it a lot have to keep paying for expensive language model APIs.
As international media said, OpenClaw shows the quick rise of useful AI tools and can help people work much better. But to make it grow well and last long, we need a balanced way: we must mix technology innovation, internet safety, and cost control together.

D、It works faster than other AI products.(2)、What can we infer from the second paragraph?A、OpenClaw will completely replace human office workers in the near future. B、ChatGPT will soon be out of date because of the appearance of OpenClaw. C、Local governments are the main force driving the development of OpenClaw. D、The launch of OpenClaw has had a direct influence on the sales of some compatible devices.(3)、Why do some big international companies stop using OpenClaw at work?A、Because they worry about the high costs of paid language model APIs. B、Because they think OpenClaw is not as efficient as traditional office software. C、Because they are concerned about possible cyberattacks and data leakage risks. D、Because they believe OpenClaw is not popular enough among their employees.(4)、What is the author's attitude towards OpenClaw?A、Strongly against it. B、Fully supportive. C、Objective and balanced D、Uninterested and indifferent.(5)、What is the main idea of the passage?A、The history of AI chatbots in China. B、How to use OpenClaw to finish office work. Many people may throw away the pits inside fruits after eating them, but inheritors of nut carving(核雕继承人) have turned them into artworks instead.
Weifang nut carving goes back to the Qing Dynasty. During that time, an old imperial (皇家)craftsman Wang Dayan spread the skill to the local people in Shandong Province. Craftsmen back then often used peach pits (核桃) to show off their artistic skills. Because of the high level of carving skills needed, the traditional culture and its rich artistic theme, Weifang nut carving was listed s national intangible cultural heritage (国家非物质文化遗产) in 2008.

We are always using body language in our daily lives. When we have a conversation with someone,we may use more body language than words. However, the same body language may mean different things in different countries. That's why people sometimes cannot understand each other.
Pointing to one part of the body can have different meanings in different cultures. For example,in the US,people point to their heads when they think someone is clever. However,in Europe,it means"He or she is stupid or something is wrong with his or her head". In our Chinese culture, nodding our heads up and down means"yes"and shaking our heads from side to side means"no". However,in some parts of India,Greece and Turkey, they mean just the opposite.
In Britain and the US,when you raise your hand and make a circle with the thumb and the second finger,it means"Everything is all right". However,if we do this in France or Belgium,it means"You are worth zero". In Greece or Turkey,we should not make this gesture. If we do,people will think we're very rude.
The meaning of gestures can also change over time. In the1960s,the"V"sign meant"peace". However, during World War II,it meant"victory". In Greece,it is an insulting sign. It will be very rude of you to make this gesture in front of a woman.
Even though the meaning of body language is different, there are some expressions with the same meaning throughout the world, such as smiling and crying.
