The Huazhao Festival, or Flower Festival, is a traditional Chinese event. It is on the 15th day of the  (two) lunar month, celebrating the birthday of the Flower Goddess.

In ancient times, people held different events to celebrate this festival with  (they) family. They  (visit) flower god temples and prayed for the good growth of plants and flowers. Young girls often cut colorful paper and tied it to flower branches. Families went outdoors  (enjoy) flowers, wrote poems, and had picnics. These customs showed people's love for nature  spring.

However, with time passing by, this festival gradually disappeared.  (lucky), with the growing interest in traditional culture, the Huazhao Festival has come back in recent years.

Nowadays, many young Hanfu lovers wear traditional clothes and hold many kinds of cultural  (fair) during the Huazhao Festival. Organizing these events needs a lot of work, but the young people never give up. With their hard work, the modern Huazhao celebration turns out to be a great (succeed).

This return shows that young people are playing  important role in keeping traditions alive. The festival is now even  (big) and more fun than before, attracting visitors from all over China.

Some people might think of oysters (牡蛎) as delicious seafood or beautiful pearls (珍珠). But for some people, oysters are environmental superstars. Demi Johnson, a 15-year-old girl, is one of them. "They're really important," Demi says. A single oyster can clean up to 50 gallons (加仑) of seawater a day. They are important helpers for our oceans.

Demi learned about oysters' superpowers through "oyster gardening"—raising young oysters in cages not to eat, but to help the environment. In fact, she knew nothing about oyster gardening when she started in 2022. After taking a free class, now she has become an expert. This year, she even won a master oyster gardener prize. "You don't have to do a lot to take care of them, but the influence on the environment is great," Demi says.

There used to be lots of oysters in coastal waters. But their numbers have declined. This is mainly because of pollution and storms. Oyster gardening is a way to help. Now, Demi has several cages. Every week, she pulls the cages from the water to check her oysters and make sure they are healthy. When the oysters grow big, they are put into the sea to help other sea animals.

Up to now, Demi has already helped raise over 1,500 oysters! She also won an award and used the prize money to help more people start oyster gardening. Demi shows how young people can make a real difference for our planet.

Imagine walking through the beautiful Summer Palace, enjoying the view of lotus flowers, and then being able to taste their beauty! Zheng Aonan is a designer who turns this idea into reality by making special ice creams. He created ice creams that look just like those lotus flowers for the Old Summer Palace. The ice creams are not only yummy but also let people "taste" the culture of the place. People love to take photos with these ice creams and share them on social media.

Zheng has made lots of other cool ice creams too. He made ice creams for the Terracotta Warriors in Xi'an and the Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang. Each ice cream has a story and helps people remember the places they visit.

In Hangzhou, there is a special ice cream about the West Lake. The ice cream has two parts, like a story of two lovers, Xu Xian and Bai Suzhen. When you eat it, you feel like you are in the story.

Lin Ying is another designer who makes pretty ice creams. She lives in Luoyang and makes ice creams that look like peonies (牡丹), which are famous flowers there. People love to take photos with these ice creams in front of the ancient grottoes.

Cultural ice creams are not just tasty. They help people learn about the history of the places they visit. They make travelling more fun and memorable. More cities in China are now using this creative idea to attract young visitors.

Do you know how astronauts take a shower （淋浴） in space？It is easy on Earth，but in space，it was a big problem because of low gravity.

In the 1960s，astronauts took sponge baths—they cleaned their bodies with a wet towel（毛巾），soap（香皂） and a little water.Because there wasn't enough water for a full-body cleaning.And they wore the same clothes inside their spacesuits for a long time.As a result，astronauts often returned to Earth with a bad smell.

Things got better in 1973.A space station got its first real shower.However，using it was not easy.Astronauts had to tie their feet to the wall so that they wouldn't float away.Each person got only about three liters of water，and taking a shower usually took over two hours！After showering，they faced the most important work：carefully collecting every drop of water because floating water could break the machines inside the space station.

Today，on the International Space Station，astronauts use a better"sponge bath"way to clean themselves.They use a wet towel，a special kind of soap and a little water.The biggest improvement is the airflow system.It helps dry astronauts' hair and bodies quickly and recycle all the water.In this way，astronauts can stay clean every day.

The development of space showers doesn't end here.Maybe one day，taking a shower in space will be just as easy as that on Earth.
