Today, the robotics club is taking part in the National Robot Competition (比赛) at the Children's Science Centre.

"Come on, let's go! It's already 8:20. We're late!" Ruby calls out. Charlie quickly puts their robot into a box. Paul takes the box, and they get on the bus.

There are so many school clubs at the science centre. Charlie starts to feel worried: "Can we make it?"

Paul finds their school's table and puts down their box.

Hot pot is one of the most popular meals in China. Hot pot first appeared in China about 2,000 years ago. People used to eat it only in winter, but now it is eaten all year round.

Besides (除……之外) its delicious taste, there are two other reasons why Chinese people like hot pot. First, eating hot pot is a great way to make new friends. My best holiday experience was two years ago. My family lives in Wuhan, the city in Central China. That summer, I decided something cool: cycling from Wuhan to Beijing with some friends from college.

By 1952, cheetahs had died out in this country. One of the main reasons was that people took away much of their natural land. Some people also killed cheetahs for their skins.

These cheetahs aren't Asian cheetahs, but African cheetahs. There may be as few as 12 Asian cheetahs still living in the wild, and they live in Iran. Some scientists believe that getting cheetahs going in India again will help make sure that cheetahs don't die out completely.
