Recently, many students felt  because of exams. Amy, a usually  girl, was always worried about failing. One day, her friend Lily noticed her worry. "Don't be afraid!" Lily said. "Let me   you some help. " They studied  after school, and Lily taught Amy simple ways to relax. 

The next week, Amy felt   better. She realised the friendship made challenges easier. Now, she smiles more, even when things get tough. 

James and his neighbour Isabella were classmates. One day, on their way home by bus, James was trying to play the game that he liked 1 . While he was asking a question and talking excitedly, Isabella sat there in silence. She didn't want 2 with James. She thought James was too noisy, just like a chatterbox (话痨). 

"James!" Isabella said. " I refuse to be friends with you anymore 3 you keep talking. " 4 hearing Isabella's words, James felt so sad. When they got off the bus, they went home separately. Neither of 5 said goodbye. 

Later, Isabella and her mother 6 to James' house for a party by James' mother. But Isabella didn't say 7 word to James. Her mother noticed, "Isabella, what happened?" Isabella told her mother the whole thing. Then her mother said, " 8 pretty good his questions are! You could try a couple of rounds with James on the way home. " Isabella agreed. 

Then Isabella said to James, "As long as you give me a little time to cool down without talking, I 9 with you. " "I will. It's a deal!" said James happily. After that, James and Isabella became good friends again. 

In fact, every 10 is totally different in the world. To get on well with your friends, understanding each other is really important. 

It's hard to make friends if you stay at home alone all the time. Get out of the house and do things that will put you in touch with (接触) other people. It's easier to make friends when you have similar interests. 

Don't be afraid to show people what your are really good at. Talk about the things you like and do best. People will be interested in you if there is something interesting about you. 

Look at people in the eye when you talk to them. That way, they'll find it easier to talk to you, or people may think you're not interested in them and may stop being interested in you. 

Be good listener. Let people talk about themselves before talking about "me, me, me". Ask lots of questions. Show an interest in their answers. 

Try to make friends with the kind of people you really like, respect (尊敬), and admire (羡慕) -- not just with those who are easy to meet. Be friendly with a lot of people. That way, you will have a bigger group of people to choose from and have more chances for making friends.
