Headphones are helpful. We use them to listen to music without troubling others. Many kids use them in school. But do you know that headphones can also be bad?

If we play music too loudly, headphones can hurt our hearing.  The cause is loud noise.

Do you know how hearing works? Inside our ears, there are tiny cells called hair cells that help us hear.These cells can only be seen with a microscope. When sound waves hit these cells, they move backward and forward, creating signals(信号) that our brain turns into sound. But loud noises can break these cells.

One sign of hearing loss is tinnitus(耳鸣). It is a ringing sound in the ears that won't go away. 

So, how can we protect our ears? The key is to keep the volume on our headphones low. We should still be able to hear sounds around us, and others shouldn't be able to hear what we' re listening to. If someone can hear your music through your headphones, it's too loud!

 The pinna collects sounds and the ear canal directs them to the ear drum, which sends signals to the inner ear. These signals are then sent to the brain. 

In conclusion, while headphones are great for enjoying music, we need to use them wisely to protect our hearing. Keep the volume down, and enjoy the sounds of the world without hurting your ears!

Do you often see the word "Ghoti"? People pronounce it as "fish". And it  in many discussions about English spelling. It's said that the play writer George Bernard Shaw created it to show how funny English spelling is. He pronounced it "fish" because of the sounds touGH, women and nation. This might not be true. Anyway, it raises an interesting question: Do we need to fix English spelling, and can we fix it?

English spelling can bring problems to writers, even to those who were  in English-speaking countries. Some languages like Italian or Korean have a  relationship between letters and sounds than English, as most letters are pronounced in the same way. While English has many letters that are not pronounced or pronounced  in certain words. This influences about 25% of English words,including some of the most commonly used ones.

Before the 18th century, people spelled words more freely. For example, Shakespeare spelled his own name in different ways and didn't think it was . But after dictionaries were invented in the 18th century, there were clear rules for"correct" and"incorrect" spellings.

Many people have tried to improve English spelling over the years and maybe these  make sense. But the differences between spelling and pronunciation make it difficult   . If we stick to a strict phonetic system(语音系统), words would have different spellings in different places, making  between nations and even within the same country almost impossible.

So, while English spelling might seem strange at times, it's part of what makes the language special.Even though people try to change it, we'll  keep it as it is for now.

B: Really? I once usually watched her videos! They showed the beauty of traditional country life. What did she make in her latest video?

A: She made wardrobe doors using traditional Chinese lacquerware techniques(漆器技艺). From the video,I know the  of making them is really difficult. She   climbed up trees to collect the material herself!

B: Oh, that sounds dangerous! I don't know that making lacquerware   so much skill and patience. But it's amazing how she  traditional art with modern features like using drones(无人机) to film her outdoor scenes.

A: Yeah! Li Ziqi's videos can always make viewers experience the blue skies, soft clouds, and the beauty of the sun, moon, and stars. She takes us away from the noise of modern life and brings us a world so that we can get close to the natural and cultural beauty.

B: Wow, I  her lifestyle and skills. How I wish I could live like that too!

A: Me too! It's great to see how she is   traditional culture around the world through her videos.

B: Yeah, exactly. Even though modern technology has appeared, traditional art is still highly respected. I'm glad to see that traditions like these are being protected well and actively with the world.

A: Yes. I believe the future of traditional art looks bright with vloggers like Li Ziqi.

B: Same here! I can't wait for her video. It's always a treat to watch her works and learn about traditional culture at the same time.
