Many people keep fit in fun ways. For example, some choose to walk to work. As they walk, they usually use the pedometer app to record steps (记录步数). Then they can share their step numbers with friends and keep exercising every day!

One day, I saw my grandma doing paper - cutting. She made many beautifuland animals with red paper. I asked if (是否) she could teach me, and shehappily.

At first, I wasbecause it was hard for me to hold one scissors and follow the lines. But my grandma was patient. She showed meto cut slowly. She also showed me some easy examples to.

Through my practice, my skills of doing paper - cutting got. I started to understand how to make my own designs (设计). Soon, my room was full of colourful works, and I was so proud of myself. And then I chose the best one for my grandma and gave it to   as a birthday present. My grandma was so excited when shethe gift.

Doing paper - cutting becomes my favourite. It is interesting and exciting. I never knew paper - cutting was so wonderful. It always brings me. Now I'm in paper - cutting club and I hope to meet more friends with the same love.

Being overweight is one of the biggest health problems now. Being overweight affects (影响) more than how you look. Too much fat can kill you. So if you are obese now, you have to fight it.

Change your eating habits

You are what you eat. Kids likes snacks. Did you list any healthy snacks? One study of eating habits showed that soft drinking are the first in the snack list. Next, kids choose salty (咸的) snacks, like ships. What's more, the list is full of junk food from No.3 to No.11. The last, No.12, is a healthy snack--fruit. So, think about your snack choice again.

Go outside to exercise

Jim, a player on his school football team, had a weight problem not long time ago. Because of his overweight problem, he couldn't find someone to play with him. So his 

father and he started playing football for a few minutes every night. Ten minutes into an hour or more. In just a few years, The kid became strong and healthy.

More TV time means more fat

Nearly every American kid watches TV for about 3 hours every day. It is also days a year of sitting. More TV time (or more Internet surfing, or more computer games) means more fat.

Good living habits help us keep fit. Change a little every day, and then you will make a difference.

Do you know kiwi, a kind of fruit? Its Chinese name is mihoutao. Can you guess what "the running kiwi" is? It is a bird that lives only in New Zealand. It sounds like "kiwi", so people name it kiwi (鹬鸵). It is as big as a chicken. Its mouth is very long and its eyes are very small. It has two feet and each foot has four toes. It has hair on its body, but it doesn't have any feathers (羽毛) like other birds. So it can't fly. Don't you think it's very special? 

A kiwi likes to have a lot of trees around it. It sleeps in the tree holes during the day because the sunlight hurts its eyes. It always comes out for food at night. It can't see well but it can smell things with its nose. It is the only bird that can smell things very well. The kiwi's eggs are very big. There are only a few kiwis in New Zealand now. People may never see them again so they can't kill (杀害) kiwis any more. New Zealanders want their kiwis to live.

My dream neighbourhood has an underwater library. We can walk to the library through a tunnel (隧道). We can watch many kinds of fishes swimming in the water when we are reading in the library.
