1 I was a little girl, I've loved music. While most kids played outside in the sun, I felt happy inside my house, practicing my violin for hours. Playing the violin makes me free from worries. And I always dreamed of winning a violin competition.

Artificial intelligence(AI)  is  changing the way we learn and take  tests at school. This brings  both good things and new problems.

Tests are a very important part of learning. In the past, tests were mostly used to give students a final grade. But now, many teachers believe tests should also help students learn during the whole process(过程), not just at the end.

With AI tools, we have a chance to redesign tests to make them more personalized and useful for each student. For example, AI can help grade papers quickly, give feedback(反馈) right away, and create questions that fit each student's level. This way,  you can  learn more  easily  and  in  a way  that's  right for you.

However, some people are worried that some students depend on  AI too  much  instead of thinking deeply. That's because AI makes it easier to copy or get answers without effort.

So how can we use AI wisely in education?  Two ideas can help us. The first is the Zone of ProximalDevelopment(最近发展区). This means the difference between what students can do alone and what they can do with help. AI can act as a helper or a teacher, giving support when students face difficult  tasks.But if students just let AI do the work, they won't really learn. The second idea is Assessment(评估) forLearning. This means using tests to help students grow and improve, not just to give them grades. AI can support this by giving feedback and helping students see how they are doing.

In short,  AI offers great tools for learning, but we must use them in the right way.

Does news have the  same influence on everyone?  In the past,  whether people  watched TV news,read newspapers,  or listened to the radio,  everyone received the same information. But now,  many of us get our daily news mostly from social media, and it can be very different for each person.

On social media, the posts we see aren't chosen by people. Instead, they' re in the hands of computer programs, which are run by the companies behind the apps or websites.

As you use these apps and websites, they may quietly collect your personal information. They may follow your searches and your"likes", among other things. Over time, they get a clear idea of your prefer-ences. They can provide what they think you' ll enjoy. If a news story doesn't match your interests, you might never see it. As a result, you may only see a very small part of the world. This is called a filter bubble.

Living inside a filter bubble is like wearing glasses that only allow you to see one color. The real world is much more colorful than that. Can we break free from our bubbles to see the full picture?  The answer is yes. Here are three tips you can try:

Discover and use different sources. Don't only use your usual websites. Use different ones, including those you' ve heard of but not yet tried.

Share your ideas with others. Don't trust everything online. It's helpful to talk with people in your real life. Share what you read, and discuss their sources.

    ▲     Remember that not everyone sees the world the same way. Read posts and articles written by people you disagree with. It helps you understand the bigger picture, even if it doesn't change your mind.

All about the circulation(循环)

Humans produce a lot of waste. We make products, use them, and then throw them away. But what if there was a different way of doing things?

Circular Economy(经济)

In the natural world, there isn't any rubbish. Energy is provided by the Sun, one living thing's waste is another's food and when things die, their nutrients(养分) return to the soil— in a circle of life. But we humans usually do things in a different way. When we want the newest phone or computer, we usually throw away our old ones. But this wasteful way causes problems! We need to change to a"circular econo-my". It takes ideas from nature. In this system, everything has value and nothing gets wasted.

Last weekend, my family and I went on a trip to a nearby small mountain. I was excited to pick flowers and take photos, but my dad told me there were many interesting science secrets waiting for us to find.

When I tried to pick some red flowers, my dad stopped me and asked why they always faced the sun. I had no idea. During the trip, I kept being asked questions: why leaves are green, why the stream(溪流) is clear, and why insects hide under stones. Sometimes I felt impatient and wanted to give up watching and play with my phone.

Mom noticed this and gently told me that learning needs patience. Science is about carefully watching, asking questions and finding the truth. I felt sorry and put down my phone. Then my dad explained the science behind these natural things: flowers face the sun for more sunlight to grow, leaves are green because of chlorophyll(叶绿素), and the water is clear as stones filter(过滤) it. I was amazed at these small but wonderful secrets.

This trip taught me a lot. I not only learned simple science but also realized the importance of patience and curiosity. I used to be impatient and give up easily, but now I understand that growing up means learning and changing. With patience and a careful heart, we can discover beauty and truth in eve-ryday life. I will keep this lesson in mind forever.

I had always felt a little distant(疏远的) from my grandpa. That's because he spent most of his time painting Chinese ink(墨水) and wash paintings (quiet) in the study, and hardly talked with me.One (snow) weekend, I saw him looking at a half-finished bamboo painting."Can I learn (paint) ink and wash paintings, Grandpa?" I asked.

Grandpa's eyes (light) up. At first,  I was not good with the brush——I even dropped ink  the paper. But Grandpa didn't mind. He taught me  to use the brush properly. I practiced with Grandpa every evening. I paid full attention and (draw) each line carefully. I hoped to make every line just right, I checked my work again and again. Sometimes, Grandpa told different sto-ries about how ancient (artist) used ink and wash paintings to show their love for nature. As time went by, I found that silent messages and feelings (express) through every line.

Weeks later, I finished my (one) bamboo painting. Grandpa hung it next to (he) work."You did a good job. And you (get)  the heart of bamboo already—— soft but strong," he said.

Later,  I fell in love with ink and wash paintings. At  same time, the relationship between my grandpa and me also grew closer. Now I know traditional culture isn't just something old but a warm line. It (tie)  people's hearts together. I learn a lot from my grandpa—— not only  about  ink and  wash paint-ings, but also about life.

Faisal was a kind-hearted and talented boy. But he had one little 1 . He never realized the im-portance of time,  so he was always   2 ,  even for school.

A Special Birthday Gift

Last month was my grandmother's 70th birthday. Our family wanted to give her a special gift, but we didn't know what to buy. She already had everything she needed. 

One day, my younger sister had an idea. "Why don't we make a photo album(册子) for Grandma?"she suggested. "We can collect photos from different periods of her life. "

We all loved the idea. We spent two weeks collecting old photos from family members. Some photos were from Grandma's childhood, some were from her wedding, and others were from family gatherings over the years. 

We carefully arranged the photos in an album and wrote short messages under each one. On Grandma's birthday, we gave her the album. When she saw it, her eyes filled with tears. 

It was the most meaningful gift she had ever received. She said the album brought back many beautiful memories. She spent the whole evening looking through it and telling us stories about each photo. 

I realized that the best gifts don't have to be expensive. Sometimes, love and time are the most precious (珍贵的) things we can give. 

Hi, I'm Mary! I keepby doing three types of exercise. Let me show you what they are!

First, I likein the park. I usually go for a run  a week. Running  me build my strength (力量) and change my mood. I love the fresh air and the feeling of freedom. Second, I practice yoga  yoga makes me feel calm and peaceful. I often do yoga at home on . It helps me relax and stretch my body. I enjoy focusing on my breathing (呼吸) and finding balance. , I play basketball with my friends. We play basketball once a week on Sunday afternoon. I like playing basketball because it is perfect for my body. My basketball  are also better than theirs. I always feel happy after our games. 

By running, practicing yoga, and playing basketball, I keep my body active and my mind healthy. These exercises make me  good. Staying active is  to me, and I love trying new activities!

Kelly and I knew each other when I was 5. We went to the same school and stayed in the same class until high school. 

Kelly is friendly and funny. She's1 and loves talking to different people. But I'm shy and serious. I don't like talking to others, so it's2 for me to make new friends. Once, our neighbour3 us to a birthday party. The room was full of strangers, and Kelly started talking with them right away. I just sat there, waiting4 for someone to talk to me. Then Kelly came over with her new friends and introduced me to them. I felt better after that.

Should Children Use AI?

Artificial intelligence (AI) is developing fast. A recent report has found that if children use too much AI, they could feel upset. There were also examples of young people using it to be unfriendly to others. Many people are worried about the new technology. Some of them have called on the government to do more to protect children from AI. What do you think?. 

YES—It's important for young people to use AI!

. Children need to understand how it works so that they can use it when they' re older. And at school, they learn how to use AI in computer science classes, so they should know how to use AI safely. 

Some adults often use AI at work to make their jobs easier, such as writing a passage or planning a meeting. If children can use AI, they could try using it for their homework.. That makes them feel relaxed.

AI is still new and people don't know enough about it. There should be rules to protect children from any possible danger. 

Also, AI isn't perfect and it can give users wrong information. It's hard for children to find out if the information is right or wrong.
