My Healthy and Happy School Life

For many kids, summer holiday is to relax and have a good time. But for Jason, eleven-year-old boy, it is a time for making money.

It is important for us to do sports. Sports can help us to stay healthy and get good grades.

Everyone in our class loves doing sports. We like PE best,but we only have PE lessons

(缺席的).The most popular sport in our class is volleyball.Both boys and girls in our class enjoy playing it. When the weather is fine,we often play it outside.We (鼓励)each other to show tricks. And when we (成功),we feel really excited.We all think it's always great to make some (进步)in playing volleyball.

We have a school volleyball team. They often play (比赛)with others,and many of us go to watch them. Sometimes our team (输掉)to others,but sometimes we win.All the teams are good (足够地),but I think(我们的)is the best.

All in all,we are healthier and stronger than before.

In most schools, students must wear school uniforms because of the school rules. , not every student likes the school uniform.

Lily is a girl from No.1 Middle School, says, "I don't like my school uniform  all. It is too ugly (丑陋的). I think young girls should wear some colorful clothes. But I have to wear the uniform every day."

Jack is also a middle school student. He has different . He says, "I really like my school uniform. I think it is very beautiful. The uniform is a symbol of my school. People will know school I am from when they see my school uniform. And it also school spirit."

Jada Fitch is an artist from the USA. She is 1 a bird lover. And she shows her love by building 2 for birds.

Cats do not eat too much. Sometimes they eat some meat,like mice and fish.Pet cats like them very much. And they are also good for cats. So it's not difficult to feed them.

Whiskers(胡须)are useful and important for a cat. The cat can feel its way with them when it goes into some places at night. So,if you get a pet cat,never cut its whiskers.

When it comes to cold weather, we may think that it's always quite difficult for us in such a season. However, it also brings fun sports. It's still true for you to enjoy yourselves outside. 

Flying down from a hill is exciting. You need to learn how to glide (滑行) down the hill without falling. If you're a beginner, never try a ski run above your level (水平). 

You don't need many skills to drive a sled (雪橇). In it, maybe there is one person or some people. As you travel, you move your body and feet to keep it going in the right way. There is a special sled called the skeleton sled (低架雪橇). It is a fast sled and many people are afraid to ride it. But once they try it, they want to do it many times. 

Skating needs much practice. Never start skating without enough practice. Be sure you get a pair of right ice skates to keep you on your feet. There are many different kinds of skating. You might compete (竞赛) with your friends, or you can make different pictures on the ice with your skates. 

Animals are our friends. We know that dogs can help blind people go to some places. Now, horses can also do it. Digby is a small American horse. Now, it is the first guide horse in England. And its owner is a blind man named Mohammed Patel. Patel is afraid of dogs, so he chooses Digby as his guide. 

Digby gets a lot of training with Patel. It learns to walk slowly and lead Patel to walk on the street and get books and magazines for him. It also helps Patel choose clothes when he goes shopping. 

Now, it is not a small horse. It is very big and about 0.8 meters tall so Patel can't take it to his company. When Patel takes it to the office, it knocks things off the desks. So Patel has to say goodbye to Digby. Luckily, Digby has a new job. It helps blind people travel around some places in London. It also helps blind people get to the bus station. 

As we know, a guide dog has only eight years of working life, but a guide horse can live for about 50 years. So a guide horse can be a "lifelong friend" for people. 

What is your favourite drink? Do you like cola or other soft drinks? If so,be careful! Soft drinks are not healthy. They have much sugar. Too much sugar is bad for your teeth and makes you fat.

So what can you drink? Here are some healthy drinks.

Water? That's right. It is the best drink. Water has no sugar. It won't be bad for your teeth or make you fat. How much water should you drink every day? At least(至少)eight glasses a day(240 ml water for every glass).

If you don't like fresh(新鲜的) fruit, 100% fruit juice might be a good choice. But just don't drink too much. Once you open    a    bottle    of    fresh    juice,    drink    it    in    one    sitting.    Or    it    will    go bad.

Milk helps you build a healthy body. Milk is rich in protein, vitamin D and calcium(钙).  They are all good for children's bones and teeth.

So try to choose the healthy drinks. They can be good for your health. Drink less or never drink soft drinks.
