Every night, just after the sun goes down, Ruth Medjber talks with her neighbors in Dublin, Ireland. And she's used to (take) pictures of them at their windows.
These photos, in some way, might show (people) lives during the hard time. "I started taking photos of just friends and family. In this way, I could connect with them during this special time when people had to stay at home," the photographer explained.
The photo project has taken off online, and she (open) it up to volunteers. But they must be the people who live within 5 kilometers—the people shouldn't (allow) to go somewhere very far.
"I pick a street each night and try to take photos of volunteers," Ruth said. "I usually take about four photos before it's completely dark, I only take two if I'm talking a lot."
More and more neighbors are joining in the photo project and it has now got moving name, Love at home. "I think people like knowing that they're not alone even if they have to stay at home, and they really like to pick out persons are similar to themselves in the photos," she said. "It's also a (differently) view of the hard time. Instead of showing what the hard time has taken from us, it shows that it has given us more chances and time (be) with family and friends."
"I think we should find something (value) even in the most serious situation," Ruth said.

Recently, some videos showed that a middle school in Ganzhou, Jiangxi, served pre-made (预制的) meals to students. People wonder if pre-made meals are healthy and nutritious (有营养的) enough for teenagers.
There are several kinds of pre-made foods, including ready-to-eat food like cooked food in packages (包装盒), and ready-to-heat or ready-to-cook food. Many people think that ready-to-heat and ready-to-cook foods are less healthy because they usually need to be kept in freezing places.
"Actually, freezing does not cause a loss of nutrients," an expert said. " But pre-made foods can be less nutritious than fresh ones by being heated or cooked twice or more."
At the same time, many pre-made food companies (公司) want their food to have a good taste. So they add more salt and sugar to their food, which may lead to health problems in the long term.
Additives (添加剂) are also a big worry about pre-made food. And now China has well-developed technology to store pre-made food. So companies don't need to overuse additives. However, it's still necessary to buy pre-made meals from qualified (合格的) food companies or supermarkets.
" This way, pre-made meals will be more accepted (可接受的) by the public," said the expert.
A. This led to heated discussions across the country.
B. But in China, there are strict rules for the use of them.
C. And nutrients are lost during the process of heating or frying (油炸).
D. Freezing can keep the food in good condition for a long time instead.
E. We hope that the rules on pre-made meals can be carried out strictly.
F. Pre-made meals mean half-finished or finished dishes that are already prepared or cooked.

20、Surrounded by vegetation (植被) and filled with ponds and pools of water, the Chinese village of Ding Wuling should be covered with mosquitoes (蚊子) , especially during the summertime. However, it is reported that mosquitoes haven't been seen here for almost a century.
Located in the mountains of China's Fujian Province, the village has a long history. There are many special stone houses. But in recent years, the culture and buildings of this village have been overshadowed (使失色) by a mystery—the absence (缺乏) of mosquitoes.
It's unclear whether scientists ever carried out a survey to get to know this mystery. But most of the people in Ding Wuling believe it has something to do with the toad-shaped (蟾蜍形状的) stone. They believe that the "god toad" keeps the mosquitoes out of the village.
Another popular explanation has to do with the locals' habit of collecting rubbish and burying (埋) it on the hillside near the village. When Chinese newspaper People's Daily first reported the mystery of this mosquito-free village, the locals hoped that experts could soon offer a certain answer to the mystery that put Ding Wuling on the tourist map.
Unluckily, I haven't been able to find newer information about Ding Wuling and its mosquito mystery, so it's possible that the whole thing was made up to help develop tourism in the area. Then again, maybe there is something to that toad-shaped stone. Who knows?
