China recently celebrated China Tourism Day with lots of fun activities all over the country. It's a special day to remember a famous man named Xu Xiake who traveled around China long time ago.

This year's theme was "Beautiful China, Happy Journey" and the main celebrations took place in a town called Heshun in Yunnan Province. The celebrations were to help develop tourism, take care of the environment, use smart technology, be polite, and combine culture and tourism.

During the celebrations, there were many exciting events in Heshun, like livestreaming, showing tourism products, and a meeting about eco-friendly travel. There was even a special report on low-carbon (低碳的) travel.

Other places in Yunnan joined in the fun too. They had cultural performances and offered free tickets and coupons (优惠券) for tourist places.

Some celebrations lasted for a whole week and others lasted a whole month. Different cities had events on green tourism, cultural tourism and smart tourism. They had markets, exhibitions (展览), and podcasts (播客) helping their cities and tourist places become better.

Beijing also had a whole month of activities, including free shows and discounts at many places.

China's tourism industry will become better and better. More people are visiting tourist places and spending money compared to before. China Tourism Day is a special day to enjoy traveling, learn about the country's culture and history, and have a lot of fun.

One morning, after he got dressed, he asked his wife a question,"Compared with Mr. Xu, who is better-looking, he or I?""Of course you are. How can Mr. Xu compare with you?" his wife said. Mr. Xu was a famous and handsome man. Hearing this, Zou Ji didn't believe it.

On the second day, a guest came, so he asked the guest the same question. The guest answered, "How could Mr. Xu be better-looking than you?" A few days later, Mr. Xu came to visit Zou Ji. Zou Ji looked at Mr. Xu up and down and found that honestly, he was not the better-looking one of the two.

Therefore, he said to King Wei of Qi. "I am actually not better-looking than Mr. Xu, but my wife and my guest both told me that I was better-looking than him. My wife protected me and my guest needed my help, so they both praised me. In the Qi State, everybody in the court (王宫) protects you, all the officials fear you and people all over the state want your help. Therefore, you must have received more praise than me." Zou Ji also gave the advice. "If you can be perfectly honest and ask for advice, it will be good for our state."

After hearing Zou Ji's words, the king sent a notice, saying that anyone who pointed out his mistakes face to face would get first prize. Anyone who criticized (批评) him in poems would get second prize. Anyone who criticized him in public would get third prize. As expected, people hurried to the king's palace to show their opinions. The area in front of the palace gate was as busy as a market.

There are millions of children in the world but there aren't many children like Aisha or Rick. On tonight's programme, we talk to two Britain's gifted (有天赋的) children about their daily life.

Aisha Patel is 11. Just like other British 11-year-old children, Aisha usually gets up at seven o'clock. She starts school at nine o'clock and she's never late. But, there's a difference.
