My hero is Zhong Nanshan. He is one of the most famous medical scientists in the 21st century. He graduated from Beijing Media College in 1960. In the first Chinese National Games, Zhong  (参加) the National Men's 400-metre Hurdles and got first prize.

Zhong Nanshan was awarded(授予) one of the top ten people among China in 2004. He  (继续) to work for 60 years. He is a good doctor in patients' eyes and is respected(尊重) by Chinese people.

There' re also other great heroes, (包括) Norman Bethune and Florence Nightingale. Norman Bethune came to China to  (治疗) Chinese people and  (死亡) for them. Florence Nightingale,a British nurse, went to a British military(军队的) hospital to take good  (照顾) of many  (士兵).

I think all of them are true heroes. I also learn that their good family education makes them true heroes. It makes me think of my family. I'm very lucky to have such a great mum who leaves me a chance to cook (简单的) dinner. I am also lucky to have a dad who helps me (管理) myself both in life and study. Also,I feel lucky to meet a  (两个) of good teachers who share  (无论什么) improvements I have made with me. Through these activities, I (意识到) the importance of"never  (放弃) up". (实际上), it's possible for  (任何人) to be a hero of his or her own.

A group of boys from a primary school soccer team are doing daily training in the playground. The team  (make) by their PE teacher Mr Zeng. And their headmaster Mr Xiong also supported(支持) a lot.

Most of these boys' parents work in big cities far   the village. In the past, they were afraid of showing  (they) in public, but now through soccer, they have changed a lot. And their skills in soccer  (improve) rapidly by working hard.

To open their minds, Mr Xiong encouraged them to join in a (nation) soccer game named"Who's the King". They did not play well at the  (begin). Later, after Mr Zeng moved to another school, Miss Yu took his place. The young teacher  was born in 1985 volunteered to teach there. She is their soccer coach and also teaches them other subjects. To her surprise, these village boys are not like   she thought. She says that every time the team travels to another city  (take) part in a soccer game, the kids are just very confident in themselves.

Soccer gives these kids a chance to see the outside world. And it makes them  (strong) believe that they would go beyond the mountains one day. They will achieve their dreams. 

One of my favourite books is"Mamba Mentality" which is written by the (众所周知的) NBA player Kobe Bryant. He was born on August 23rd, 1978, who is one of the best players in the NBA. In this book, Kobe Bryant makes  (意义) that there are no short cuts but hard work to win. He also mentions our family will always be there for us, even when we get into  (麻 烦). Unluckily, he was (去世的) at the age of 41 in a helicopter crash(直升机坠毁).On his  (葬礼), another famous basketball player Michael Jordan cried, "When Kobe Bryant died, a piece of me can't keep (活着的)."

Many people  (评论) the book. They think the sports spirit  (站立) for a generous(慷慨的) heart, which makes a great  (运动员). A  (明智的) sportsperson won't be  (生气) at his or her failure and will try to do better whether he or she wins or not in the  (比赛). What's more important than  (得分) is what you learn from each of your teammates.

As an old saying says, "Life has no  (借口)." One shouldn't stop working until he or she has  (打破) his or her own record.
