I'm Tom. I used to be a very shy boy. I was afraid to talk to others. But I knew I needed to change.

I started by joining some clubs at school. In the clubs, I met many new friends. I forced myself to talk to them and take part in group activities. At first, it was very difficult for me, but gradually, I became more comfortable.

I also practiced speaking in front of the mirror. I would imagine I was talking to a real audience. This helped me gain more confidence.

Another thing I did was to read more books. Reading broadened my knowledge and gave me more topics to talk about.

Now, I'm much more confident. I can talk to others easily and make new friends. I'm really happy that I've made such great progress.

In our class, every student is unique. Take Li Lei for example. He is very good at sports. He often takes part in running races in our school and always gets good results. He is also a very kind - hearted boy. He often helps his classmates with their problems.

Han Mei is another special student. She has a great sense of art. She is good at drawing and painting. Her works are really amazing. She often shares her artworks with us, and we all admire her talent.

Zhang Ming is unique in his way of thinking. He is very creative. He can come up with many new ideas. In group discussions, his ideas always make us think in different ways.

We all respect each other's uniqueness. We learn from each other and help each other. This makes our class a warm and friendly place.

Everyone is unique. I have my own1 that make me different from others.

I'm really good at drawing. I've loved drawing since I was a little child. I often spend my free time2 different kinds of pictures. It's a great way for me to express myself.

Another thing that makes me unique is my3 of humor. I can always make my friends laugh. When they are sad or4 , I tell them funny stories or jokes. This helps them feel better.

Nobody wants to lose, but we must accept that losing is a part of life. After all, we can't win all the time. So we must know how to be a good loser. 

We must not be afraid of losing. When we lose, just take it with a smile and look on the bright side of it. Edison failed about 1,600 times before he improved the light bulb (灯泡). In history, many men and women failed many times, but they got success at last. 

Losing is not very disgraceful (丢脸的). We must accept our failure and learn to make use of it. Remember that it can be helpful. Take action to walk out of it. When we lose, think about what we did and how we can improve. If someone else can help, we'll be lucky enough. This can save us a lot of time in learning how to avoid the same mistakes in the future. 

We should face our failure when we lose. There is only one winner in every competition. Some win, while some lose. That is a usual way of life. If we offer the winners our congratulations (祝贺) and share their happiness, we won't feel sorry for our failure. 

In a word, being a good loser will help us to succeed in life. It might be painful (痛苦的) at the beginning, but there are many advantages. Good losers set examples to us, and most importantly, they finally win.
