①Nowadays, many people worry about excessive（过度的）competitions, or"rat race" which can no longer give them a better life. So some have got the idea of"lying flat（躺平）". They think it is a way to reduce the pressure of modern life. 

②"Rat race", the excessive competition, happens in every part of life. Parents are stressed to offer their kids the best; kids must keep up in the educational rat race; office workers have to work for more than 10 hours a day. People may have to work really hard to make more money or achieve more goals（目标）. It leads to more worries and unhappiness.

A little stream（小河）ran down from a high mountain through many villages and forests. Then it reached a desert, "I went through so many difficulties. I should have no problem crossing this desert, " she thought. 

As she started, she found herself slowly disappearing into the sand. After many tries, she still failed. "Maybe I can't reach the ocean, she said sadly to herself. " At this time, a deep voice said, "If a breeze（微风）can cross the desert, so can a river. " It was the voice of the desert. But the little stream replied, "A breeze can fly, but I can't. "

My Visit to the Park

Today is Saturday and my family and I are having a great time in the park right now. 

Last Sunday, our class visited the city science museum. The moment we entered, everything seemed so  (magic)! There were quite a few wonderful exhibitions as many scientists (think) of them years ago. 

In the Robot Zone, we watched how different robots work in (factory). "They do many jobs that are (tire) for people, " the guide explained. We saw robots lifting（升起）heavy objects, and even making ice cream!

This year, we go to the museum again,  everything is different now! Look, the smart lights on the ceiling（天花板）(shine) like stars, making the hall look bright. Some classmates are trying to control robots while others are doing chemistry experiments (safe). . 

 it is our second visit here, we enjoy it very much. These visits make me (realize) that science is not difficult at all but (real) interesting! Most importantly, I learned that science helps make our lives better and safer. 

We were so excited about our trip! Our class had been looking forward to  the Nature Park all week. Just as we arrived, dark clouds gathered and it seemed to be  soon. Some students became worried and said that they wanted to  instead of going outside. 

" Don't worry about the rain" said Mr. Wang, our science teacher. " We can still  with our experiments inside. " As we began our experiments about weather patterns, the rain started falling  on the roof.
