This is the world's first try to bring samples (样本) from the moon's far side. For China, it's the second sample-return moon journey. Chang'e 5 successfully brought samples from the moon in the winter of 2020. Up to now, 10 moon sample-return tasks have been carried out by the United States, the former Soviet Union (前苏联) and China, but all these samples were collected from the moon's near side.

The moon's far side has always been a subject of scientific wonder because of its many mysteries. It's facing away from Earth and it can never be seen from Earth. It was once called the "dark side of the moon" even though it receives just as much sunlight as the near side.

Chinese researchers have found that the soil on the far side is much thicker than that on the near side, but they haven't found out the reason. Samples brought back by Chang'e 5 have helped scientists find that there were volcanic (火山的) activities on the near side around 2 billion years ago. Some scientists thought maybe volcanoes became inactive on the far side about 4 billion years ago. Is it true? Samples from the far side will allow them to know the answer.

"Comparing the make-up of the far side samples from Chang'e 6 with those collected from the near side will be of great scientific value to the international community," said Martin Sweeting, a famous professor of space engineering.

One day when he was leaving his apartment, Mr. Black saw that his rubbish was gone. In its place, he found a note from David. "Good morning, Mr. Black. I saw your rubbish here, and since I was on my way out, I picked it up for you. I wanted to save you a trip. Have a nice day, David." However, Mr. Black decided to ignore this act of kindness. A Fun and Educational Farm Trip

Australia is an English-speaking country. Its capital is Canberra and three of its  (big) cities are Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Australia is the  (six) largest country in the world, but only about 26. 8 million people live there. Much of the land  (cover) by desert, so about eighty percent of the people live on the coast. The climate is better there. But some people live in unusual places. One of them is  small town called Coober Pedy. 

Coober Pedy is in the South Australian desert. On summer days, it can be as hot  52℃! For this reason, more than half people live under the ground. The temperature is always  (surprising) comfortable there. Underground homes have kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living rooms. Everyday life in Coober Pedy is not very different from any other town. People go to work or school, do chores, watch TV and spend time with  (they)friends and family. 

Coober Pedy has lots of  (visitor) every year. People come to stay in the underground hotels. There are also underground shops, cafés  museums. On summer nights, when it isn't too hot, people can go above the ground and play golf（高尔夫球运动）. It's not easy  (lose) golf balls because they can glow（发出暗淡的光）in the dark!

Do you want to work in a zoo? Then you must love animals and you mustn't be afraid of  . My job is to look after the meerkats（灰沼狸）. It's very  but also tiring! I have to prepare their food, keep them clean,  they' re healthy and write a report every day. Last week, three meerkats  sick and I had to look after them. I couldn't go home for three  ! My job isn't easy, but I love it.

Mr. Wang: Our most popular robot is called the Unitree Gol. It's a four-legged robot that's fast, balanced, and can follow people or do cool skills like dancing!

Reporter: That sounds fantastic! Can these robots do important work, too?

Mr. Wang: Yes! Our robots are used for security（安全）, checking dangerous areas, and even helping in emergencies. 

Reporter:     That's so cool! What's next for Unitree Robotics?

Mr. Wang: We' re working on making robots even smarter so they can understand people better and help more in everyday life.

Maybe you' ve got some old boxes of cereal（谷物）, too. There were cereals for every film character and video game in the 80s and 90s, and Nintendo cereals were especially popular. A collector recently paid $200 for a box of these cereals, and someone paid half of that for an empty box!

Today, people change their phone every year or two, so you' ve probably got one of these. It isn't worth much now, but don't throw it away. It could be valuable in the future. A 1983Motorola recently sold for $550, and other old phones are worth the same. 

So, if you want to buy new things and you haven't got enough money, go and look in your old boxes. Maybe you' ll find some treasures there!

Have you ever thought about who made your jeans or designed the logos（徽标）on your shirts? Most people know little about fashion design, so here are two young designers to show us what it's like. 

Josh Birch Jones, 19, has been interested in fashion since he was four. He started by drawing his mother' s dresses and creating his own versions. By now, he's designed and made many evening dresses and shown more than three collections in public. Josh lives near London with his mother and designs at home. When he's not designing, Josh is a normal teenager, going to school and hanging out with his friend. At first, his friend thought it was strange that Josh wanted to be a fashion designer, but now he understands why Josh enjoys it so much. Josh designs dresses to make women feel full of power and believes fashion is one of life's little luxuries（奢侈品）。

Emma Kenyon works for a fashion company that designs clothes for both men and women. Each morning, she checks which clothes are selling the best to help plan her new designs. She also spends a lot of time on social media and says the best part of her job is seeing people wearing her designs on the Internet. Emma advises young people to work hard in school and get experience. She's worked at two famous stores, where she learned how to invent forms and design on a computer. She suggests taking as many chances as possible to get work experiences, which she believes is a great way to learn. 

What's interesting about both Josh and Emma is that they not only love fashion but also enjoy making people happy with their clothes. They both understand the importance of learning, which may explain their success at such a young age. 

American Dennis Tito was the first ever space tourist in 2001. Then there was South African Mark Shuttleworth in 2002 and American Gregory Olsen in 2005. American Richard Garriott was finally in space in 2008——for him it really was the trip of a lifetime. 

As a young boy, Richard Garriott was similar to other children, with a dream of being an astronaut. NASA was only a few miles away from his home in the US and his dad was an astronaut! However, Richard's eyesight（视力）was bad——he couldn't see well without glasses. Good eyesight is important for an astronaut. But Richard decided to find another way to travel into space. 

As an adult, Richard was very successful and he was able to make enough money to travel into space on the Soyuz TMA-13. The ticket for the trip to space was $30 million. Finally, on 12th October, 2008, Richard was on Soyuz TMA-13 with the American NASA astronaut, Edward Fincke and the Russian astronaut, Yuri Lonchakov. They were in space for 12 fantastic days. 

On the International Space Station there were lots of experiments（实验）to do, so Richard was like a normal astronaut. One experiment for NASA was to study the effect of space travel on people with eye problems. Another experiment was for a Japanese watch company. Richard travelled into space with a special low-gravity watch. 

Now, Richard gives talks about his trip and explains to people how looking at the earth from space gives you a new way of seeing our world: From space you can see how humans are changing the planet. Richard's next dream is to move to Mars with his family!
