Technology is helping people to give first aid. It helps save lives faster. Technology not only makes our lives easier, it can also save lives. People who have sudden health emergencies like heart disease or accidents may only have a few minutes to live unless they get help. We can use technology to offer help faster. Let's look at some technological inventions that are helping save lives.

Some people in the US made an app called Pulse Point. It invites common people trained in CPR(心肺复苏术) to use it. The app knows the users' locations. If someone needs first aid nearby, a user will get a message asking them to help. 

Magic gel

The gel can stop someone bleeding in just 10 seconds. It is made from plants. It can stick to a wound and help seal it. It was invented more than 10 years ago but was only allowed to be used on animals. Now in the US, it has been allowed to be used on humans, too. And the person from the US was only 17 years old when he invented it!

Flying aid

If people get injured or need help in hard-to-reach areas, drones can be of great use. Because they can fly, drones can often offer help faster than people. And they can also make helping people safer for rescuers working in dangerous conditions. The drones can have a camera that can watch your health. They can also carry useful things, like blankets or a life jacket to save someone from drowning. 

On Tuesday, Platform 9$\frac{3}{4}$ from the Harry Potter series showed up at a station in the Beijing subway. It made fans very happy. Beijing Daily said this special display was at the East Gate of Peking University Station on Line 4. The platform had red brick-style pictures on the pillars in the middle. There was a luggage cart that looked like it was going into the wall, like in the movies. The cart had three red suitcases and a basket with yellow papers. It made the subway station feel magical and nice. 

Lots of passengers came to take pictures with their phones. A fan called Chen, who found out about it on social media, was very excited and came with her friends. "For normal people, this platform might just look like a wall. But for a real wizard, it's a door to Platform 9 $\frac{3}{4}$ where the Hogwarts Express is waiting, " she said happily to her friends. 

Besides people taking pictures, the station hall was full of photographers and young people wearing wizard clothes and wigs. The Beijing subway Line 4 also had a Harry Potter-themed train. It had nice pictures and decorations from the series. From Quid ditch to owls, the train made passengers feel like they were in the magic world of Hogwarts. "When I get on this train, I feel like I'm in that magic school in my dreams!" many excited fans said. 

Because there were so many people, warning lines and signs were put around the display to keep passengers safe. This magic show made Harry Potter fans happy and made the daily trip more fun. 

A game of catch is simply two people throwing a ball back and forth. It seems a little 1 and many people may not be interested in it. The two people are close enough to talk, but too far to touch. They might have baseball gloves, or they might use their hands.
