①Last September, my family visited a turtle center in Kemaman, Malaysia. It is famous for its clear beach and it is the home to the green and Hawksbill turtles. The center saves them by keeping their eggs safe and helping the baby turtles back to the sea safely. 

②When we arrived at the center, we met the workers. One of them told us a sad story. He found a nest with about 100 turtles eggs in it, but they didn't hatch(孵化) because of a deadly fungus. Sadly, there is also another danger to the turtles eggs from the ghost crabs. Because the ghost crabs love to eat turtles eggs. Besides, some eggs don't develop properly. When such an egg hatches, the turtle even has two heads! These turtles have problems living in the world. 

③Later, the worker showed us the turtle eggs in the hatchery. That day, we saw some baby turtles hatch from their eggs. It was amazing to watch them break out of their shells and start crawling(吧). 

④As night fell, the worker took the baby turtles to the beach. They used the red lights to help us see the turtles better. Turtles can't see the red light very well. So it wouldn't affect them very much. The baby turtles moved quickly as they ran into the dark sea. Welcome to the start of your long journey into the wild, little turtles!

Do you know Ke Zhou Qiu Jian? It is a very famous story in Chinese history. 

In the story, a man took a boat to cross a river.  (sudden), his sword(剑) fell into the river. He tried to catch the sword, but it was too  (danger). It was also too late. The man loved his sword very much. He thought for a while and made a (choose). He took out knife and made a mark(记号) on the side of the boat. 

Other  (passenger) on the boat all looked at him confusedly(困惑地). The man said, " decided (make) the mark here because my sword fell the water from here. Then later on, I can find the place of my sword by looking at the mark. " But others didn't think that he could find the sword in that way.

Last week, our school had a cultural festival. There were lots of wonderful cultural shows at the festival. It seemed that we had a trip to  (探索) Chinese culture.  (在…之中) all the shows, I liked the traditional Chinese shadow puppetry(中国传统皮影戏) best. The performers (表演者) moved the puppets behind a large piece of white cloth (布). They held the puppets up.

After I finished middle school, I went to Silver Sand Beach with some of my classmates. That was my first time going to the beach so I still remember it after two years. 

We left for Silver Sand Beach at 6 a. m. and arrived at about 10 a. m. When we arrived at the hotel, we bought some ice cream to eat. It was too hot. Then we had a good sleep. In the afternoon, we started to enjoy our great trip. We played beach volleyball and then swam in the swimming pool of the hotel. Before dinner we watched the sunset(日落). It was beautiful and we told stories about our lives and talked about our dreams. It was a cool day for all of us. 

The next morning, we rode bikes to another beach. We took many funny pictures along the way. When we got to Golden Bay Beach, we spent the day there. Golden Bay Beach was very beautiful and there were not many people. We went fishing in the afternoon and watched stars on the beach at night. 

On the third day, we got up early and went back home. Although we were all tired after the trip, we still had a wonderful time. I would never forget the happy time I had on those days.

Usually, cats don't like dogs. Your pet dog and cat may fight a lot. But in Guangzhou Zoo, a dog and a cat are really good friends. The dog lived with baby lions and bears when it was young. So it isn't afraid of cats. They often play together. The cute dog usually helps the cat clean its hair. 

In other places, we can also find different animals can be friends. At an animal shelter(动物收容所) in Australia, a cat named Kitty and a sheep named Lucy are good friends. Kitty and Lucy didn't come from the same place. They were friendly to each other when they first met. Now they often stay together. 

Scientists think animals in zoos and shelters don't need to worry about food, and they have places to live. For many animals, they don't have much to do but sleep. The life in zoos and shelters is boring for them. They really need friends to play with and have fun. So they can be friends with other animals easily.
