Today, on April 24, 2025, at 5:17 p. m., the Jiuquan Satellite (卫星) Launch Center became very bright because of a big fire. The Long March 2F rocket took the Shenzhou-20 manned spacecraft into the sky. It flew fast towards the big universe. This day is very special. It's the 10th "China Space Day" and also the 55th birthday of the "Dongfanghong-1" satellite's launch.

From "Dongfanghong-1" to Shenzhou-20, China's space science changes a lot. Before, we just sent satellites into space. Now, we build space stations and do science experiments there. The shenzhou-20 has new technology. It can meet and join with the space station quickly. The batteries (电池) in it are better than old ones. They make the spacecraft lighter and work better.
