In early March 2026, an open-source Al tool called OpenClaw became very popular in China. People call it "the Lobster" because its icon is a red lobster. It started a nationwide trend called"raising lobsters"-that means installing(安装), setting up, and customizing (定制) the tool. Thousands of tech fans waited in line for free setup in Shenzhen and Shanghai, and paid set up services also became popular online quickly.
Unlike common chatbots like ChatGPT, OpenClaw is made to do real work. It can run locally on many operating systems and works well with everyday office software. It can automatically do data analysis, edit documents, and fix code, acting as a useful "digital worker". This change from just talking to doing things has made people want more compatible devices (设备); Apple's Mac mini, a good choice for local use, has sold out all over the world Big tech companies like Tencent and Baidu have added one-click setup to make it easier to use, and local governments have made helpful policies to support related research and new ideas.
However, fast growth also brings big risks. China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has warned that wrong setup may cause cyberattacks and data leaks (泄露). Because of his risk, some big international companies have stopped using OpenClaw at work. Also, people who use it a lot have to keep paying for expensive language model APIs.
As international media said, OpenClaw shows the quick rise of useful AI tools and can help people work much better. But to make it grow well and last long, we need a balanced way: we must mix technology innovation, internet safety, and cost control together.
(1)、What makes OpenClaw different from common chatbots according to the passage?A、It is able to perform practical tasks automatically B、It supports global online interaction C、It provides free office software for users. D、It works faster than other AI products.(2)、What can we infer from the second paragraph?A、OpenClaw will completely replace human office workers in the near future. B、ChatGPT will soon be out of date because of the appearance of OpenClaw. C、Local governments are the main force driving the development of OpenClaw. D、The launch of OpenClaw has had a direct influence on the sales of some compatible devices.(3)、Why do some big international companies stop using OpenClaw at work?A、Because they worry about the high costs of paid language model APIs. B、Because they think OpenClaw is not as efficient as traditional office software. C、Because they are concerned about possible cyberattacks and data leakage risks. D、Because they believe OpenClaw is not popular enough among their employees.(4)、What is the author's attitude towards OpenClaw?A、Strongly against it. B、Fully supportive. C、Objective and balanced D、Uninterested and indifferent.(5)、What is the main idea of the passage?A、The history of AI chatbots in China. B、How to use OpenClaw to finish office work. C、The popularity, functions, risks and future of OpenClaw D、The reasons why international companies stop OpenClaw. -

Many people may throw away the pits inside fruits after eating them, but inheritors of nut carving(核雕继承人) have turned them into artworks instead.
Weifang nut carving goes back to the Qing Dynasty. During that time, an old imperial (皇家)craftsman Wang Dayan spread the skill to the local people in Shandong Province. Craftsmen back then often used peach pits (核桃) to show off their artistic skills. Because of the high level of carving skills needed, the traditional culture and its rich artistic theme, Weifang nut carving was listed s national intangible cultural heritage (国家非物质文化遗产) in 2008.
"One nut, from 0. 8 to 6 centimeters long, can be made into fan pendants (坠饰), earrings, buttons, seals(印章) and so on," said Tan Wanhai, 48, an inheritor of Weifang nut carving. Tan has studied the art of nut carving for 25 years and has created many nut carvings.

Nut carving craftsmen also need to have knowledge in many areas. According to Tan, they have to master skills in painting, seal carving and calligraphy from many traditional cultures.
Thanks to their creative design and fresh ideas, Weifang nut carving artworks have been increasingly welcomed by people in China. More people are learning the art and have even become inheritors to pass down the skill to young people.
"Now, the number of inheritors IS about000. But I believe it could be bigger. More craftsmen now give up the tradition of passing down the skill only through the family and open itup to anyone who is-interested in learning the skill," said Tan.

We are always using body language in our daily lives. When we have a conversation with someone,we may use more body language than words. However, the same body language may mean different things in different countries. That's why people sometimes cannot understand each other.
Pointing to one part of the body can have different meanings in different cultures. For example,in the US,people point to their heads when they think someone is clever. However,in Europe,it means"He or she is stupid or something is wrong with his or her head". In our Chinese culture, nodding our heads up and down means"yes"and shaking our heads from side to side means"no". However,in some parts of India,Greece and Turkey, they mean just the opposite.
In Britain and the US,when you raise your hand and make a circle with the thumb and the second finger,it means"Everything is all right". However,if we do this in France or Belgium,it means"You are worth zero". In Greece or Turkey,we should not make this gesture. If we do,people will think we're very rude.
The meaning of gestures can also change over time. In the1960s,the"V"sign meant"peace". However, during World War II,it meant"victory". In Greece,it is an insulting sign. It will be very rude of you to make this gesture in front of a woman.
Even though the meaning of body language is different, there are some expressions with the same meaning throughout the world, such as smiling and crying.
(1)、What do people in Europe mean when they point to their heads?A、Somebody is smart. B、Somebody is friendly. C、Somebody is foolish. D、Somebody is healthy.(2)、What will Americans do when they try to say"Everything goes well"?A、Point to their heads. B、Shake their heads from side to side. C、Nod their heads up and down. D、Raise their hands and make a circle.(3)、What does the underlined word"insulting"probably mean?A、showing respect B、hurting others' feelings C、full of joy D、friendly and polite(4)、What can we infer from the passage?A、Using body language correctly helps us communicate well. B、We can use the"V"sign freely in Greece. C、Body language is more important than words. D、All body language means the same in the world.(5)、What is the main idea of the passage?A、We should not use body language abroad. B、Body language has the same meaning everywhere. C、The same body language may have different meanings. D、Body language in English-speaking countries. -
