Researchers found that people are happy when they are able to pay for their basic needs, such as food. clothes and a safe place to live and health care. People are also happy when they give reasonable amounts of money to charities. Giving makes them feel as if they're making a difference. Lavish things, such as expensive clothes and cars, only make people happy for a moment. 

People can hope and wish to suddenly come into lots of money to improve their lives, but perhaps there are better ways to find happiness. 

What will the world look like in 2045? I speak with four students to get their thoughts on this question. 

The kids think humans (live) on Mars in 2045. They suggest that everyone should spend a few years  the red planet to give the earth a "rest". "And when we come back, we must try (not pollute) the earth, " says Stark. The kids not only care about the progress in space exploration, but are also (interest) in every new development of technology. 

Polly hopes to have a smartphone with  excellent camera. In fact, she understands that phones can bring a lot of problems, and she is not alone in this belief. "Technology can bring (real) amazing things, but it can also bring some bad things, " says Abdi. 

As for jobs, Stark (dream) of composing music for TV shows one day. Abdi wants to have a business tower. Eric wants to be a lawyer, but he thinks he might change his mind, Polly wants to be a (science) or an engineer. However, many jobs, the kids predict(预测), will be replaced by robots. "There are probably going to be no more factory jobs  robots can just do everything, " says Stark.

From driverless cars to voice control in the house. AI has developed so fact. "AI is going to change the world more than anything in the history of mankind. More than electricity, " said AI expert Dr Kai-Fu Lee. 

That's true. According to research by scientists at the University of Oxford, AI will be better than humans at writing school essays by 2026, selling things by 2031, writing a best-selling book by 2049, and treating diseases by 2053. These are just a few examples of how AI will change the future. But wait, what about jobs? Will they steal our jobs in the future?

"AI will take our jobs!" is the most common fear. In fact, with AI automating(自动操作) all kinds of work, we can think of a more comfortable future for ourselves with millions of new job chances. According to a report on the Future of Jobs by World Economic Forum, AI will create 97 million new AI jobs by 2025. There is an excellent chance that AI will replace humans in most of the mental tasks by 2030. However, that does not mean it will take away jobs, Taking India as an example, three times more companies are working on AI-based projects and this is likely to continue. India almost doubled its AI engineers in 2019(from 40, 000 in 2018 to 72, 000 in 2019) but still faces a talent shortage. Top technology companies are in a race to implement AI in our day-to-day lives, which will lead us to a really exciting AI future.
