Farmyard robots can cut down chemical pollution.

?Many of them use chemicals to kill weeds ( 杂 草 ) . The   trouble   is, these weedkillers also kill wildlife, pollute rivers and are bad for the fields. . This kind of ro- bot can cut weedkiller use by 90%. The robot is really smart because it only kills weeds but not crops(庄稼) . 

Several cameras are built into the robot. 

The cameras facing the ground take photos to help the robot" see" the plants it passes. 

The robot compares each photo to a library of plant photos to decide on which plants are weeds. 

Robot arms move into position to give a small dose( 剂 量 )of weedkiller on the weeds. 

The robot is energy friendly.  .

How the robot will develop

The scientists do not want to just stop at the achievement they have made. . The improved model of robots will exactly discover weeds and dig them out instead of weedkillers. 

Robots could be programmed to leave some harmless weeds in the fields to support wildlife living there.

Hearing this, all eyes in the classroom went wide.

When I first started studying English seriously, I noticed that my grammar was a main weak point. My writing was often full of mistakes.  fix this, I created a study plan to improve my grammar. 

I started  reviewing the basic grammar rules. I realized that I had been making mistakes because I never really understood the rules. For example, I would often mix up verb tenses. To solve this, I spent a few weeks just going over the basics. It  a little boring at first, but it made a great difference. 

One of the turning points for me was when I began keeping  grammar diary. Whenever I made a mistake, I would write it down along with the correct usage. I remember once I kept confusing the past perfect tense with the simple past tense. Writing out the differences and practising writing sentences in my diary helped me internalize (内化) the rules. 

 fact, to get better at any subject, you need to find what you're not good at and try to improve it. Remember, every mistake is just a chance to learn something new.

Listening to English more often will help you improve your . When doing this, you'd better make mistakes marked and correct them more than twice. 

You should be  in class. If you often speak English in class, you will find that it is much  to speak. And you can also improve your speaking skills by  more English language environments around you. 

You should pay attention  your speaking speed. Before you speak, think carefully about what to say and speak a little more slowly than normal. 

You should make sure the language that you use is correct. Use words and  you have used before. If you don't understand the question or the activity, ask the examiner (考官) , "Could you  that, please?" 

You should speak  so that the examiner can hear you.  you find it difficult, practice with a partner at home. Stand at opposite ends of a room and speak to each other in English. 

Everyone feels nervous in exams. So take some deep breaths before exams and try to relax.

You've been learning words since you were a tiny baby. At first, you learned them only by hearing other people talk. Now that you're a reader, you have another way to learn words. What should you do when you come to a word and you think you don't know what it means? . 

Say it

First sound it out. Then say it to yourself. . Sometimes you know a word in your head but you don't know what it looks like in print. So if you match up what you know with what you read, you will have the word. 

Use context

If this doesn't work, take the next step: look at the context—the other words and sentences around it. Read this sentence: When it rained, the dog looked for shelter in the doorway. . "Rained" and "in the doorway" might give you helpful information. 

If the context doesn't help, look at the parts of the word. Does it have any parts you know? These can help you understand what it means. If you don't know the meaning of "miner", try looking at parts of the word. You might know that a mine is a place underground where people get coal and other valuable things. Often, "-er" at the end of a word means "a person who does something". So a miner might be someone who works in a mine. 

Look it up

If the three steps above don't work, you can look it up.  —either in a book or online. Nobody knows the meaning of every word, but good readers know how to understand words they don't know. 

What subject do you worry about the most at school? Many students worry about math. Some students can't sleep well the day before a math exam. Others may feel very nervous during the exam. But there might be a way to make the subject less stressful. 

"For students who are worried about math, posture (姿势) makes a big difference, " Erik Peper, a researcher from a university told Daily Mail. That's right—sitting up straight can help you do better in math exams. 

Researchers tested 125 college students. They asked them to do a math exam while sitting in a slumped-over (趴倒的) position, or sitting up straight. After the test, 56% of the students said the exam was easier to do if they were sitting up straight. 

"Slumping over is a defensive (防御的) posture. It can bring out negative (消极的) memories in the body and brain. This can stop you from thinking clearly, " Peper said. 

Students who were not nervous about taking the math exam didn't necessarily benefit (受益) from better posture. But they did find that doing math in a slumped-over position was more difficult, Science Dailyreported. 

Good posture isn't just helpful for taking math exams. Musicians, sports players and public speakers can all benefit from it. When you feel stressed out, you can also try to sit up straight or stand tall. It can help you feel more positive (积极的) and focus better.
