Reese Osterberg was born in Fresno County, California. She likes playing baseball and she once 1 about 100 baseball cards.

When she was nine, a big fire happened in her hometown. Lots of people there 2 their homes. Reese was 3 them. She and her family were safely evacuated (被疏散), but they 4 lost all of their objects, including the baseball cards.

"I spent years collecting the baseball cards and I 5 them well. So I feel quite sad every time I realize that I have parted from my cards," Reese said in an interview.

The news reached a fire department (消防部门). It organized an activity to call on people to donate 6 baseball cards. That would bring a 7 to Reese's face.

A man called Kevin Ashford knew the activity, 8 he was planning to sell his cards. "I've collected baseball cards since the 1990s," he said. "I've changed my 9 . I'm going to give my cards to the girl instead of selling them."

Kevin called the fire department and told the workers 10 he wanted to do. When the workers knew how many cards he had, they were 11 . With their help, Kevin gave his collection of more than 25,000 baseball cards to Reese.

"To be honest, this is the 12 day of my life. I am very thankful that Uncle Kevin has helped me 13 the unhappy experience," Reese said. "Some children are in hospital because of the 14 . Some also lost their favourite things. I want to do 15 to cheer them up (使他们振作起来), so I plan to share the cards with them."

As kids, we get to enjoy a lot of hobbies, like sport and music. But recently I have realized that my mum also has her own hobbies. These hobbies always have something  with me and they're always . 

When I was a little child, my mother's hobby was to play with me. I was  to run and jump. I felt happy and there was always sweat(汗水) on her face. Although it seemed that she was very , there was always a bright smile on her face. 

As time went by, things changed. She told  to me every night. With her sweet voice, I fell asleep . It seemed that it was her hobby at that point. 

When I grew , I realized Mum made great sacrifices(牺牲) for me. 

Many nights, when I was asleep, she checked my homework till late at night; when I said I had a cold, she would worry about me all the time; when I met , she always accompanied(陪伴) me and encouraged me to overcome(克服) these challenges by. 

So these are my mum's hobbies, and I understand why they change all the time. It's because of selfless love. She always provides me  the best and never does what she really likes. I hope she can have more hobbies which are really hers.
