Noodles are important food in China. People eat noodles every day. So noodles are the real (真正的) Chinese food and they are a  of Chinese people's life. There are many different  of noodles. Many people like  noodles at home. But some people buy noodles in the shop  they have no time to make them. People can cook noodles  something they like. Children like noodles with  and tomatoes. Young people like noodles with meat and vegetables. Some people like to eat noodles with vinegar (醋). 

When people are on birthday,  family cook noodles with eggs as birthday food. They think people can have good  and live a long life after eating it. Sometimes people  noodles in the Spring Festival. When you  to China, welcome to eat the real Chinese food—noodles.

It was a winter morning in Beijing, and it was very cold that day. I was on my way to work and wanted to cat something to warm me up.

Then I saw an old woman selling youtiao and doujiang (soybean milk). Youtiao smelled good. I was also surprised at how cheap it was.

As soon as I tried youtiao,  ▲     . It was delicious, salty and sweet. After that I ate youtiao every day on my way to work in the morning.

Foreigners like youtiao probably because it's similar to some other foods that are popular in foreign countries. In the US, there is a type of food called cruller (油饼). It's a sort of doughnut (甜甜圈) with a long and thin shape like youtiao. Spanish food churro (西班牙油条) is also like youtiao. People in Malaysia and Vietnam also like to eat youtiao and they eat it with milk tea or noodles. In Indonesia, they eat it with porridge.

Youtino can be even better if you add some other things to it. Chocolate or sugar can give it a new flavour. I like to cat it with coffee or tea as well. It is one of my favourite Chinese snacks.

A great French writer says we should help others because we also need others' help. And the small can also 1 the big. The writer tells the following 2 about this.

An ant 3 water from a small river and falls into the river. "Help, help, help!" cries the ant. But she couldn't move at all. The poor ant gets too 4 but she still does her best. A big bird sits on a nearby tree and sees her. The bird 5 throws (扔) a piece of wood.

Do you get on well with your parents? Sometimes you may feel that it is very hard because of the generation gap (代沟). 1 they are probably your best teachers in life. Here are some tips for you to improve the relationship if you find that you and your parents can't get on well.

●Spend time with your parents. Your parents won't be always with you, so spend time with them while you are able to. This doesn't mean just sitting 2 the TV together. Instead, you can find some common interest and do some activities together.

●Talk with your parents. To know your parents better, you should try to have 3 talk with them. Use this time to learn about their different hobbies and opinions.

The summer holiday is coming.Our school had a trip to celebrate it.

The Hunan Museum is a famous museum in Changsha.Teng Fei visited it with his classmates last Sunday.It was a sunny day, and they were all very excited.

When they arrived in the museum, they saw something special—some soft toys.They looked like hot pot food! There was soft tofu, meatballs (肉丸) and so on.They were so cute.

Teng Fei's best friend Lin Tao picked up a meatball toy and said, "Look! It's just like real food! " They took many photos and had a good time.A worker showed them Shaanxi roujiamo toys.The worker told them, "These toys can help us remember our food culture."

After visiting the museum, they watched a video (视频)online.It was about Suzhou's crab (螃蟹) toys and Changsha's stinky tofu (臭豆腐) toys.Many people said, "So amazing! I want one！"

At dinner, Teng Fei told his parents about the trip."It was really interesting，" he said."I learned a lot about China！"

Early this spring, Jiang Zhihang and his classmates from Beijing International School got together at Mount Huangshan in Anhui.It wasn't a usual trip.They not only enjoyed the beautiful views, but they also needed to learn about geography in the large National Geopark.

Nowadays, such study trips are becoming popular in schools across China.By taking a study trip, students can get to know more about culture, history and nature.

Zhang Jiaqi, a 16­year­old girl from Dalian No.2 High School had a study trip to a lavender(薰衣草) garden.There Zhang and her classmates enjoyed the beautiful flowers, and also learned about the medicinal value of lavender, such as lightening scars (淡化疤痕) and helping people sleep.

Tan Wenjing and her classmates from Longyan No.1 High School didn't go to see flowers.They got to learn about history by visiting the Site of the Gutian Conference (古田会议会址)．Tan and many other students were surprised to hear the names of their grandparents in the stories behind pictures."It lets us know more about our place and our ancestors (先辈)，" said Tan.

Now, more and more schools start to take study trips.

Last summer, we had a school trip and we had to go with an adult (成年人)．My parents had to work, so they asked Uncle AI to go with me.But I didn't want to be with Uncle AI.He always does funny things! 

On the first day of our trip, we went to the forest.Tina, one of my classmates, couldn't come down from a tree and she cried.Uncle AI climbed up to get her, but his foot got stuck (卡住) in the tree.He looked so funny that it made Tina relax.Then she came down slowly.

"Johnny, is he your uncle? " Tina asked me.

"No, he's just a friend of my dad's, " I answered.

Soon the five­day trip finished.On the way home, the bus went… BANG!

"Sorry, I can't fix (修理)it, " the driver said."I need to find someone to help us."

"I can fix it, " Uncle AI said.When Uncle AI got back, he did a funny dance on the bus and said happily, "Let's go home！"

When we arrived at school, Tina said, "He's your uncle, isn't he？"

"Yes, " I said."I'm sorry I lied."

"You're lucky to have a nice uncle！" said Tina."He is quite helpful.

Last week, Grandpa Bill came to Sam and Anna's house.Sam and Anna loved days with their grandfather because he did lots of exciting things with them.On Saturday morning, the children went to the zoo in their grandfather's car.After they finished their visit, they wanted to go home, but Grandpa Bill couldn't start his car.

They decided (决定) to take a bus home.On the bus, Sam and Anna talked with two other children, Ben and Alex.They were with their parents.Grandpa Bill told the four children some funny stories.Then the mother said, "Would you like to come to our house? We have a swimming pool.You can swim there." Ben and Alex also said "    ▲    " to them.

My name is Michael.My friends and I plan to climb Mount Tai this morning.After breakfast, we get on the train.When we get off, a high mountain comes into view (视线)．How huge it is!
