"What will I be like in ten years?" I asked myself.

 When you miss a day, or even a class, it's easy to fall behind. The best way to stay with the progress of the class is to be there! If you have to miss a class, make sure you meet with your teacher to find out what you missed. Also, listen carefully and take notes in class. Don't write down everything, just the main points. 

Ask questions. Believe it or not, most teachers want you to learn and they are always there to help you. If you aren't comfortable asking questions in front of the class, go to talk to the teacher after class. 

Take your homework seriously. Like it or not, homework is a necessary part of school. There's not much you can do to get around it. If possible, you can find a study partner and do homework with him or her. 

Try new things and get new friends. Try a new sport, something you think you will be good at. If sports aren't your thing, try joining a club. Keep your old friends, but get some new ones at the same time. Remember, it's up to you to decide what kind of school year you' re going to have. Make full use of it while you can!

On weekends I either do homework at home or play outside with my friends. However, my last weekend was a little 1 .

China Jade is a small restaurant. However, it is quite clean and beautiful. There are about ten tables in the restaurant. On each table, there is a red flower. The Browns came here for the first time three years ago. They came to celebrate their friend Robert's birthday. They fell in love with this small restaurant at that time. 

Yan is the head waiter(服务员领班) here. He works very hard and he enjoys his job. He likes telling jokes and many customers(顾客) like him. He knows that it is Mrs Brown's birthday and he wants the dinner to be very special. He brings Mr and Mrs Brown a menu. Then he helps them order. They order vegetable soup for their first course(菜肴). For their main course, they orderBeijing roast duck. After the main course, they order a fruit salad. Yan brings them their food. They eat slowly and happily, listening to the beautiful music. 

The evening is so wonderful. It is 11:00 p. m. when the Browns get home. Mrs Brown puts her red flower from China Jade in a vase(花瓶). She is very happy. She thinks that it is not so bad to be forty years old!
