2、 阅读下面短文,根据短文内容选择正确答案

Swifts live mostly in the air. These small birds are one of the fastest animals on Earth. In fact, swifts can go two or three days without touching the ground! To get used to life in the sky, swifts use their speed and the saliva(唾液) in their mouths.
Swifts can fly faster than 100 miles per hour. That's because their wings are wide and long. This shape of the wings helps them to fly much faster. They can also move one wing faster than the other, which allows them to make fast turns without slowing down. Making fast turns helps swifts catch flying insects to eat.
The saliva helps swifts catch insects to feed their babies. It is sticky, like glue. Swifts often fly into clouds of insects and open their wide mouths to catch as many insects as they can.
Swifts also use their saliva as glue to build their houses. The birds catch feathers in the air and stick the feathers together to build a strong house on the side of a building. Swifts short feet are not good for walking or standing on the ground for long. Hi, I'm Robert, a TEENS writer from Canada. Here, I team up with a reader of your age to help solve your problems.
Q
Dear Robert,
I like my little brother, but sometimes I feel blue when my parents give him more attention than me. Although younger kids need more care, I also want my parents' attention . Am I wrong for feeling this way?
Fangfang
A
Dear Fangfang,
I'd like to thank you for writing to me. Having a younger brother or sister isn't easy. lt is common for older brothers or sisters to feel this way, just like you. However, younger kids do need more care. As your little brother grows older, this will change and your parents will treat you the same. Think of this as a chance to become more independent. You can learn to live without getting as much attention from your parents - you'll move out of the house some day anyway, so you should try to get used to it.

Healthy Snacking Tips
Probably you grew up with a no-snacking mom. That is a mom who tells her kids that snacks are bad. They will make you fat. They will hurt your teeth.
Well, mom may be right about many things, but she isn't right about all snacks. What really matters is how you snack. And here are some tips to help you.
· Make your own snacks.
Try to avoid store-bought snacks. Most ready-made snacks have too much sugar and salt in them.
· Choose snacks that take longer to digest(消化).
Foods like bread and cookies are digested quickly. Try eating them with cheese or yogurt. This slows down digestion and makes you feel full longer.
Sometimes your body cannot tell the difference between tiredness and hunger. Before eating another snack, drink a bottle of water. You might not be hungry at all—— your body might just need some water.
· Snack Smart,Eat Less.
Having one or two snack breaks during the day can help you eat less at lunch and dinner. Eating less at main meals is a good way to control weight and stay healthy.
With these tips, you can enjoy snacks without worrying too much about health. Sorry about that, Mom ——
A. Don't snack when you are just tired.
B. Let's eat more fruits and vegetables.
C. Some snacks can actually be good for you.
D. Making your own snacks at home is a better choice.
E. In fact, snacking the right way can keep you healthier.
