Hi, I'm David. I'm a student in Grade 7. Let me tell you about my school and my favorite subjects.

My school is big and beautiful. We have 20 classes. I go to school from Monday to Friday. Every day, I have six classes.

My favorite subject is P.E. I have P.E. on Tuesday and Thursday. In P.E. class, we play soccer, basketball and ping-pong. My P.E. teacher is Mr. Wang. He is very kind and he plays soccer very well. I also like English. I have English every day. Our English teacher, Miss Green, is from the USA. She teaches us many interesting English songs.

I don't like math. It's too difficult for me. I can't work out the problems quickly. But I try my best to learn it.

School Subjects Around the World

Different countries have different school subjects. In China, students learn Chinese, math, English, history, geography and many other subjects.

In the USA, students have math, English, science and P.E. They also have art and music. Some students learn foreign languages like Spanish or French.

In Japan, students learn Japanese, math, science and social studies. They also have art, music and P.E. Many Japanese schools teach students how to make sushi (寿司) in home economics class.

In Australia, students learn English, math, science and P.E. They can choose subjects like art, music or computer science.

My School Day

Hi, I'm Lucy. I'm a student in Grade 7. My school starts at 8:00 a.m. every day. I have four classes in the morning.

At 8:00 a.m., I have Chinese. It's my favorite subject. Then at 9:00 a.m., I have math. I think math is a little difficult. At 10:00 a.m., I have history. It's boring. But at 11:00 a.m., I have music. I love singing, so music is great fun.

In the afternoon, I have two classes. At 2:00 p.m., I have science. It's interesting. Then at 3:00 p.m., I have P.E. I can play volleyball with my classmates.

My school finishes at 4:00 p.m. I go home and do my homework.

Students from Class 2, Grade 7 are talking about their favorite subjects. Let's look at their answers:
