Tea garden draws tourists
The harvest season of spring tea has started in Wugongling Village of Shexian County, Anhui Province. Starting in the 1960s, the villagers spent over10 years building the tea garden with 700 million pieces of stones on the mountains so that they could grow tea plants there. The village was once poor but now it interests lots of tourists. The garden has a viewing platform, walkways and a visitor centre.
An"extinct(灭绝的)"wildflower reappears
A. wildflower that was thought to be extinct has been found 40 years after it was last seen. It was thought to have died out after forests were cut down and made into farmland. However, scientists in Ecuador found the flower again and they are now working hard to protect the species.
