Also, the writers didn't like to write the notes because they thought it might be awkward (尴尬的) for the receiver to get a thank-you note. But in fact, it's not tree. "They feel quite happy, " Kumar said. "They don't really feel awkard at all. If people know that writing a thank - you note could be so important to others, they will do it more often. "

In a word, simple and small changes in our everyday lives can make a big difference to how we treat (对待) other people and how we feel. 

As I put down my guitar and finished my song, I heard people clapping. I knew my show was successful. 

Two weeks later, I got into the final. Looking at the crowded (拥挤的) school hall, I felt nervous. As I waited for my turn to perform. I told myself, "It should be fine, and it will just be like the last show. "

Then I heard the host calling my name and I went on stage. I looked at the audience (观众). It was noisy and then became quiet. I started playing the guitar and singing.
