Many scientists are famous for their inventions or great works. For Leonardo da Vinci, it is difficult to know where to start. He was a talent in many subjects including art, engineering and science.

Da Vinci was born in Italy, on 15 April, 1452. He became interested in drawing pictures when he was very young. At the age of 15, he began to study painting.
