Milk can help young animals to develop and grow. The scientists at the milk bank study the milk to find out what it has in it. They use this information to create "false milk". This "false milk" is used to feed baby animals when their mothers have died or stopped having milk.

On January 6, 2025, a worker was checking the Poyang Lake National Nature Reserve in Jiangxi. He was surprised to see a group of Oriental White Storks (东方白鹳) in the trees near the lake.
