Volunteering has become a meaningful activity for middle school students in Gaoyao,Zhaoqing. Young people here are willing to spend their spare time doing volunteer jobs. These warm acts not only make our hometown beautiful, but also help teenagers grow better.

Many students take part in community service around Gaoyao. Some volunteers sort rubbish and tidy public parks to keep local scenery nice and tidy. Some often go to visit lonely elderly people in villages. They talk with the elders and help them deal with daily small matters. What's more, plenty of students also join in protecting wild animals and local plants in our hometown.

On weekends and festivals, student volunteers offer service at local scenic spots of Gaoyao.They show ways to tourists and introduce special local culture to visitors. Their unpaid service work is not easy, but they feel happy and worthwhile.
