I'm on vacation in Central America and having a great time. I'm in Guatemala. It's a small country but there is so much to see and do! There are volcanoes(火山), mountains, rainforests(雨林), beaches and Mayan temples in the country.

The Mayan people have a long and interesting history. They built many temples. Last Friday I visited a Mayan temple at a place called Tikal. The temple has a history of about 1,300 years. It is a wonderful place to visit.

I am staying at Lake Atitlan now. Some people say it is the most beautiful lake in the world. It is a very big lake and there are mountains and volcanoes around it. You can walk around the lake and even climb to the top of a volcano.

The volcanoes at Lake Atitlan are not active volcanoes, but tomorrow I am going to see an active volcano called Pacaya. Active volcanoes can be dangerous because they still erupt(爆发) sometimes. I want to climb Pacaya. It erupted in 2010. I hope it won't erupt when I'm there!

Last winter, I went to Paris myself. My children worried about me a lot. I was in my 70s. But I still wanted to have a vacation in Paris. It's my dream place.

I flew there. It was really cold in Paris. I waited for the bus with my heavy bag. At that time, a man came to me.

"May I help you?" he asked.

"Yes, thank you," I said. "Is it OK to help me? I think you are busy making money." He was a taxi driver.

"It's OK. I like helping old people. Hope you have a good time in Paris," he said. I couldn't say anything.I met a good Frenchman.

We had a great talk on the way to the hotel. When we arrived, I thanked him again and gave him some money. But he didn't take.

"I helped you not for money. I just hope my mom can get help someday," he said and went away.

That's why I love travel. I get so much delight by visiting beautiful places and meeting kind people.

It is in Chengdu. It is a famous museum in China. There are two halls with a display (展览) area of nearly12,000 square meters in it. Welcome!
