The Three Spinners (选段2)

A lazy girl hated spinning, but her mother forced her to work. Terrified and sad, she had to spin the flax in three rooms in the queen's castle. But as long as it was completed, she could be her son's bride. One day, three strange women appeared. "We'll help you, " they said, "if you invite us to your wedding as cousins. " The girl agreed.

At the wedding, the prince was pleased his wife was so diligent. The girl invited the spinners as her cousins.

Hi, I'm Dale.  I'm a student in Canada.  I study maths, music, French, history, IT, science, and have gym.  I do homework every day.  But I have some special homework this weekend.  Everyone needs to do something to help parents.  Let me tell you what I do.

First, Nami sees that Aunt Hoshi has a tennis bat.  Then, Nami sees small tennis in her aunt's room.  She also sees Aunt Hoshi watching tennis games on TV.  Nami knows what to do.  

At last, it is time for Nami to give her gifts.  Everyone is happy when they get the gift.  

Aunt Hoshi jumps up when she takes hers out of the box " ▲ " she calls.  Then she goes to the park with her tennis and bat.  The family play it late into the New Year's night.

How are you these days? I started middle school this September: I have a lot to say!

On school days, classes start at 8:00 a. m.  I have seven classes each day.  We have a lunch break from 12:00 p. m.  to 2:00 p. m.  We go to the dining hall for lunch.  There are different foods.  I really enjoy eating there! Classes end at 4:00 p. m.  Many students stay to take part in (参加) after-school activities at school.  But I go home after school because I go to a special ping-pong club with my brother.  And we will take part in the national ping-pong competition (比赛) next month. 

Oh, I forget to tell you that my favorite subject is English.  And I am good at it.  I always help my classmates with English after class.  Next week we will have an English test (测试).  I really want to get good grades.  I like my school days.  I think my school life is really meaningful.     It's nine o'clock at night now.  My father is still working on the computer.  He is really busy from Monday to Friday.  My mother is making the bed for me.  Tomorrow is Saturday.  I can go to the zoo with my parents.
