Summer is the best time to eat crayfish (小龙虾) in Sweden (瑞典) !

 From August to October, families hold crayfish parties. 

They hang (悬挂) paper moons in their gardens.  They eat crayfish with cheese and juice. 

Do you know crayfish were so few in the past in Sweden? Only some people could eat them. Why?  People could catch crayfish when August began. But now, there are more of them. Everyone can eat them! And the Swedish like crayfish from Sweden best. 

During August, Swedish fathers often take their children to catch crayfish at night. They think the more crayfish they catch, the more good luck their children will have. 7 August is the day for children in Sweden. On that day, families dress their children as crayfish.  The fathers hope their children can grow up to be like them—brave and strong!
 

In different languages, different colours mean different feelings. In English, red is an angry colour. You know, "see red" means "be angry". But in China, red is a happy colour. In China, red means life. It can mean "happy and lively (活泼的)". We often wear the red clothes in the happy time, such as New Year and the wedding (婚礼). But we can't write living people's names in red. In some Asian countries, people write the names of the dead people with red colour. In China the symbol of death also includes white. When someone is dead, there is much white cloth on the doors and windows of one's house. 

Blue is the colour of the sky and the sea. In English, you "feel blue" when you are sad. 

Green sometimes means safety (安全). The green light means "go". In English, green can mean young. The new worker is very green. 

We all know English is important (重要的) to us. But today in China, many students don't like English, and they don't know how to learn it well, either. In fact, learning English well is not very difficult. If you can use some good learning methods, you'll feel that learning English is a happy thing. 

First, you must learn how to pronounce (发音) well, then you can learn a lot of words and phrases and even spell them well. 

Second, you must listen to English every day. Sometimes you can listen to some English songs, and see some English movies. If you are free, you can read some English books. 

Third, you must learn about some grammar and learn to make sentences with the key words. You can keep a diary in English. 

Fourth, if you put your heart (心) into learning English, your English will become better and better. Please remember: Where there is a will, there is a way. 

In a word, English is very important and we Chinese can also learn it well by using the above ways.

The Happy Prince

Be active (积极的) at school. Don't say things are difficult or  (bored). Take interest in school life and your school subjects. Join in lots of  (activity) to make your school life colorful. Also, put up your hand  (quick) in class if you know the answer. 

Keep fit. If you don't eat a  (well) breakfast, you will be thinking about food in class. If you go to bed late and don't have enough sleep, you will be sleepy in class. Play enough sports every day to keep  (you) body strong. 

Make full use  your free time. Don't waste time lying in bed on weekends. Go and play sports, get together with friends in the park to relax, learn  (play) the piano, or help someone in need. If you don't want to go out, there are also a lot of things to do. You can spend your time reading a book,  (speak) English as much as you can or helping with the housework. 

Follow these pieces of advice (建议),  you will have a happy school life!

How time flies! Our first term of Grade 7 will come to an end (结束). Let's share it!

Our school  at eight in the morning from Monday to Friday. We have six classes a day, four in the morning and two in the afternoon. Each lesson is 45 minutes long and there's a  between lessons. After two classes in the afternoon, some of us play sports on the playground (操场). some have art classes  some have dancing classes. 

I like Fridays because I have my subjects that day: PE and geography. Geography is difficult  interesting. I love to read maps and know about other people and places. Also, Mr. King is great fun. He teaches  geography very well. What about P. E. ? It's cool. You know, I like  basketball best, so having a P. E. class always makes me happy. 

 we have math on Fridays. It's a very useful subject because I think everything is based on (以……为基础) numbers. Classes finish early, at about 4 o'clock. It's time for me to have a party or watch a DVD  Friday evenings. I can relax and have fun because I have  classes the next day. 

My   is football. We have fun together. 

We should often help our parents with some .

We all want to have great parties on our birthdays. But it's not easy to have a great party. 

 If your friends or classmates are busy on that day, some of them will not come to your party. Saturday and Sunday are good days for a party because the students don't go to school. You can have your party on Saturday afternoon. It's OK to have it on Sunday afternoon, too. 

You need to invite (邀请) your friends and classmates to your party.  If you have the party on Saturday, you need to tell them on Thursday. Then they can have time to prepare a present for you. 

 If your friends and classmates like playing games at the party, you need to think about proper (合适的) games. The games need to be easy and interesting for your friends and classmates. Then you can have a good time at the party.

Little Snow White

When morning came, Snow White woke up and saw the seven dwarfs looking at her. At first, she was scared, but they smiled kindly. 

"Who are you?" they asked. "How did you get into our house?"

Snow White told them her story—how her step-mother wished her to be put to death, and how the huntsman spared her life, and how she ran through the forest all day until at last she found their little house.

"With all my heart, " said Snow White; and so she stayed. Every morning, the dwarfs went to the mine to dig for gold. Snow White cleaned the house, cooked meals, and made sure everything was ready when they returned. They lived together happily. 

The Three Spinners（选段1）

Once a lazy girl always refused to spin. Her mother beat her angrily. The girl cried out loudly. The Queen going by heard it and asked why. The mother, embarrassed, lied, "She loves spinning, but we're too poor to buy flax. "
