DJI announced on Wednesday that it has successfully finished the first drone delivery tests on Mount Qomolangma from the Nepali side. This paves the way for helping high-altitude climbing, emergency rescue, and environmental protection. 

In the tests, a DJI Fly Cart 30 was used. Three oxygen bottles and 1. 5 kg of other supplies were flown from the Base Camp (5, 364 meters high) to Camp 1(about 6, 000 meters). Trash was carried down on the way back. 

The Khumbu Icefall is between the Base Camp and Camp 1. It's full of ice blocks and very dangerous because of frequent avalanches. Mingma Gyalje Sherpa, a climbing guide said, "We need to spend 6 to 8 hours each day walking through this icefall. Last year I lost three colleagues. "

 The DJI drone could carry 15 kg of supplies between the camps in 12 minutes for a round trip, day or night, the drone maker said. During the tests, FlyCart 30 flew as high as6, 191. 8 meters and could carry a 15 kg load steadily at 6, 000 meters. A senior director at DJI based in Shenzhen said, "The ability to safely transport equipment, supplies and waste by drone has the potential to change Mount Qomolangma mountaincering logistics, help clean up trash and make it safer for everyone involved. "

Although we live in regular houses, we stay in temporary shelters called" igloos(冰屋)"when we go hunting. Igloos are made of snow or ice. On the one hand, they are quite warm inside and the building materials can be found everywhere. But on the other hand, they can only be kept for around 50 days. 

We get our food from the nearby sea. Eating a lot of fish and meat keeps our bodies strong so that we can fight the cold. But the disadvantage is that the cold weather makes it difficult for us to grow enough vegetables and fruit. 

It's completely dark here for three months of the year, which is a period called" polar night(极夜)". So, life can sometimes be boring! But the good thing is, during that time the elders tell us stories about our people. It gives us more time to be with our family and friends. 

Nowadays, ships bring tourists to the Arctic. The advantage to this is that it brings more money and job opportunities, but the disadvantage is that our environment is being polluted. 

One thing is for sure, though: No matter how things change, our traditions will remain an important part of our lives.

If you eat sausages with bad stuff inside, you might get sick. It could cause stomach problems or make you feel bad. Some people might even have allergies or get sick for a long time. 

The government is doing something about it. They're checking places where these sausages are made and sold. They want to make sure they're safe to eat. ④Also, they're telling people to be careful and not to eat sausages that might not be safe. 

To stay safe, be careful where you buy sausages from. It's best to buy from places you trust. And if a sausage looks or smells strange, it's better not to eat it. You can also tell the government if you see any sausages that might not be safe. 

It's important to be careful with what we eat. By working together, we can make sure our food is safe and we stay healthy.

In the videos, we can see the robot preparing dishes on its own, from cutting vegetables to cooking eggs. It's also good at watering plants, petting cats, cleaning the floor and washing clothes. Linda, a 40-year-old housewife joked, "As long as this thing doesn't try to hurt me while I am asleep, I am in real need of it. "

Well, another video may disappoint her. Mobile Aloha carelessly broke glasses and plates, knocked into things and even burned a dish. In fact, Mobile Aloha isn't good at doing housework on its own. Instead, it learns from human actions before doing each kind of housework. When the situation changes, it can't work well without a human" teaching" it. The robot can successfully move chairs 80 percent of the time. For cooking dishes, it's only 40percent. In short, it's far from perfect. 

AI robots are good at tasks such as math and playing chess, but they perform worse than a one-year-old child when it comes to simple tasks like cleaning. And it's the same for Mobile Aloha. ④For example, if its body doesn't move correctly even just with a small deviation, its arm may move too far to pick up a glass.
