It's really important for junior students to keep physical and mental health in daily life. To stay healthy, we should take regular exercise and eat healthily, which can help us stay away from all kinds of d effectively. Besides, o our emotions carefully is important—when we feel stressed or sad, we can tell parents or friends at once instead of keeping it inside. We also have to understand what our body and mind really r and learn to balance study and rest in a good way.What's more, it's wise to r ourselves to take a short rest after studying for a long time. For every student, a healthy body and a peaceful mind are the p treasure in life. Let's keep healthy together to live a wonderful school life.

Learning to be polite in a new language isn't easy. Every language has special ways to show respect.

Using mod al verbs is an easy way to sound more polite in English. Verbs like"could", "would", "might" and"shall", used for ability or possibility, soften your speech, especially in questions. 

 "Could you open the window, please?" sounds much softer than just"Open the window, please."

Another way to sound more polite in English is to use the passive voice.  For example, "The computer wasn' t turned off." sounds nicer than"Bob, you forgot to turn off the computer."

You can also use the past tense . For example, when you check into a hotel, the staff might ask, "Did you need any help with your luggage?" Even though the past tense is usually used to describe things that have already happened, in this case, it' s a polite way to ask if you need help with your luggage.

In early March 2026, an open-source AI tool called OpenClaw became very popular in China. People call it"the Lobster" because its icon is a red lobster. It started a nationwide trend called"raising lobsters"— that means installing, setting up, and customizing（订制） the tool. Thousands of tech fans waited in line for free setup in Shenzhen and Shanghai, and paid setup services also became popular online quickly.

Unlike common chatbots like ChatGPT, OpenClaw is made to do real work. It can run locally on many operating systems and work well with everyday office software. It can automatically do data analysis, edit documents, and fix code, acting as a useful"digital worker". This change from just talking to doing things has made people want more compatible（可兼容的） devices. Apple's Mac mini, a good choice for local use, has sold out all over the world. Big tech companies like Tencent and Baidu have added one-click setup to make it easier to use, and local governments have made helpful policies to support related research and new ideas.

However, fast growth also brings big risks. China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has warned that wrong setup may cause cyberattacks and data leaks (泄露). Because of this risk, some big international companies have stopped using OpenClaw at work. Also, people who use it a lot have to keep paying for expensive language model APIs.

As international media said, OpenClaw shows the quick rise of useful AI tools and can help people work much better. But to make it grow well and last long, we need a balanced way: we must mix technology innovation, Internet safety, and cost control together.

Why should we learn body language?

In English classes, we spend a large amount of time studying grammar and learning new words. We work hard to improve our reading and listening skills. Few of us, however, pay enough attention to body language. So body language is not important, is it?

Of course not! Actually, body language can convey many messages.Sometimes, we can communicate with others even without a single word. For example, shrugging our shoulders（耸肩）, and without a word, we've just said, "I don't know."

Body language can help us stress what we are saying. It can help us express our true, inner feelings. Moreover, body language can help us find out if someone is lying. Often, people who are lying do not make eye contact.They may raise their shoulders because they are uncomfortable with the conversation.

In job interviews, the interviewers can sometimes judge the interviewee before he or she speaks. Body language is important in our personal life, too. It can show if you really care about your friends.Leaning（前倾）forward in the conversation, for example, means you are interested in what is being said. Listening without making eye contact means you are not paying attention but are waiting for your turn to speak.

Scientists have been studying body language for a long time. They say more than 70 percent of our messages are given through body language,Sometimes, body language is more accurate than the words we use.

So it is very important for us to learn body language. By understanding body language, we are less likely to be misunderstood. We will find it easier to get a job. We will also have lasting friendships.

Long time ago, China was ruled by a kind and just emperor. He ruled the country well and loved his wife, the empress, very much. His wife was a good storyteller who 1 him with her tales of heroes.  2 , she suffered from a serious illness and passed away. Filled with sadness, the emperor locked himself in his garden and stopped  3 what happened to China.

A comic strip is a line of drawings to tell a story. It uses speech bubbles and captions. Usually the story is funny and there1 a number of comic strips in a comic book.

People have made cartoons for as2 as they have made art. But it was not until the 19th century that people began 3 comic strips and comic books.

Do you often feel there is never enough time these days? Our life is always full and fully planned. However, when we slow down and look back on our day before going to bed, we can hardly tell what we truly finished. We may even feel lost and a little empty inside.

The idea of"time poverty(时间匮乏)" is quite common in modern life. It didn't appear until 1977 and has caught people's attention for many years. Our society highly values fast work and high efficiency(效率). People are pushed to act quickly, take different roles and finish plenty of tasks, which makes us slowly lose our personal free time. A famous American social scientist studied the time habits of thousands of people and found that if people have less than two hours of free time each day, it will be harmful to their health. For example, they will become less satisfied with life and may face bad feelings like worry and great tiredness. What's more, this lack(缺少) of free time will also do harm to people's social relationships:people join fewer community activities, and fewer neighbors know one another in modern cities.

However, more free time doesn't mean more joy. If people have over five hours of free time daily, they will feel aimless(漫无目的的) and lose the sense of achievement. Research shows that two to five hours of free time is the perfect balance for most people.

Time is fair to everyone. It is not how much time we have, but how we make good use of it. When you feel short of time, try to spare quiet personal time. Doing exercise or volunteer work can help us enjoy life and get a strong feeling of satisfaction.

Recently,  students at  Yangzhou Foreign Language School  welcomed special friends from Ikast-Brande Gymnasium(伊卡斯特——布兰泽文理中学), a famous school  in  Denmark. The students spent four happy days together, taking part different interesting activities and getting along well with each other.

The Chinese students invited their Danish peers(同龄人)  to experience richChinese culture through art and PE activities. One activity that(win) great popularity among Danish students was the Tongcao Flowers Paper Art Workshop.Tongcao flowers are  form of traditional Chinese paper art. Made of soft tongcao paper, these flowers look(surprising)  real. A Danish student said the art was like magic. When he met difficulties, his  Chinese  partner showed (he) how, to make the flowers patiently.

The school also held guzheng, tai chi and traditional Chinese painting (class). Chinese students acted as little teachers and got new experience too."We painted a panda with Denmark's(nation) flower, the marguerite(玛格丽特花)," said Wu Zixi:"A Danish student told him that,a local driving route inDenmark (name) after this beautiful flower. This experience made Chinese.students more interested in Danish culture and encouraged them to learn more about.Denmark after class.

The  Danish  students  also visited  some  places  of  interest  in  Nanjing  andYangzhou to learn about local history and daily life. Before (say) goodbye,students exchanged nice gifts."I gave my friend a hand-made landscape painting(山水画) I made," said Huang Chaowei."I hope he loves Chinese culture, I also hope to visit Denmark one day."

Jane was feeling low. Next Saturday was her friend Betty's birthday party, but she had nothing nice to wear. Her dad had just lost his job, so she couldn't ask for a new 1 .

You might think taking public transportation(交通方式) is tiring and takes a lot of time in daily life. But for some students at Nanjing Foreign Language School, it is much more than just a common way to travel from one place to another. It brings them great joy.

The school's Transport Club was first set up in 2018 by a group of students who deeply love all kinds of public transportation. Now the club has many members,including 121 students studying in the school and 186 graduates who left the school years  ago. Club  members  enjoy many  interesting  activities  about  different vehicles(交通工具), such as city buses, subways, common trains and planes.

Usually,  students share the best places for  taking  pictures of vehicles,  and discuss different types and models. They even explore the past and present route(路线) plans of different lines sometimes. For example, they once looked at the subway lines in Nanjing."Planning routes is harder than I thought," said Li Zerui,14."People's houses, busy areas, land and nature... We need to think about so many things."

Students also take interesting trips on new bus and subway lines and play a popular"city chase" game. Two different teams travel around the whole city by public transport, finishing small tasks and catching up with each other to get more scores in the game.

The club is not just for having fun. It helps students make more friends,  learn good teamwork and know their own city much better. The students are proud to explore their city and hope to work together to make it a better place.

Many people love eating fish, but they are always worried about tiny fish bones(鱼刺). Now Chinese scientists have found a good way to solve this problem.With special gene-editing(基因编辑) technology, they have created a new kind of crucian(鲫鱼) that has no small bones at all.r.

This special new fish is called"Zhongke No.6". It was developed by a great science team in China. The scientists found that one certain  gene in the crucian makes it grow more than 80 small bones in its body. The team used a gene tool to cut it off carefully and exactly. After this small change, the crucian will never grow those tiny bones. Its main body bones can still grow well and stay normal, just like common crucians.

Gui Jianfang, the leader of the science team, said that this new kind of crucian can swim and grow as well as other crucians. What's more, it tastes exactly the same as the ones we usually eat. People can enjoy delicious fish without worrying about small bones getting stuck in their throats.

The new"Zhongke No.6" crucian also has two more advantages. It grows faster than common crucians and eats less food every day. And it is very good for making many fish products, such as fish balls for hotpot and other popular fish snacks.

Besides this, scientists have made sure that this new crucian cannot have baby fish. Even if some of these new crucians swim into rivers or lakes in the wild, they will not cause problems for other wild fish or break the balance of nature.
