Robots can help us in many ways. Topel Primary School is doing something new for autistic (患孤独症的) children with the help of robots. These robots can dance，play games and tell stories. They can do tai chi as well!

Dr Guldberg，a university teacher，said, "Autistic children are usually quiet，and it's hard for them to communicate with others. But they often feel good with robots. These robots can act as their friends and listen to them. "

Ian Lowe，a teacher from Topel Primary School，teaches about 30 autistic children. He said, "The robots are very smart at helping these children with learning. In the future，we hope they can help with learning at home. "

And the students love robots. Seven­year­old Joshua says he likes playing games with them and he likes to watch the robots dancing. And Stephen says he likes the robot Robert Max when it tells him stories. 

In a way，the robots are helpful for these autistic children to express their ideas.

My Shenzhen Story

Shenzhen is a city full of love, hope, beauty, and future. 

One Hundred Horsesis one of China's top 10 paintings. Surprisingly, it (create) by an Italian named Giuseppe Castiglione (1688-1766). He was widely known in China by his Chinese name, Lang Shining. 

Castiglione came to Beijing, the capital of the Qing Dynasty, in 1715. He first came as a missionary(传教士), but the emperor (invite) him to work as a painter instead. He served three emperors—— Kangxi, Yongzheng, and Qianlong—— for more than 50 years. 

One day, Emperor Yongzheng ordered Castiglione (paint) One HundredHorses. Painting on silk is very difficult  mistakes cannot be corrected easily. So, Castiglione first made a detailed drawing on paper. Then, he (careful) copied every part onto the silk. It took him five long years to complete this nearly 8-meter-long and highly detailed painting on fine silk. In the painting, you can see about 100 horses doing different (activity). Some are running fast, some are drinking water, and others are playing with each other. 

Castiglione became well known  his special painting style. The artist used Western ways to show light and shadow  made the horses look real and full of life. At the same time, he used a Chinese brush and (tradition) methods. 

Emperor Qianlong loved this painting very much. He said it was  wonderful example of how Eastern and Western art could work together. Even today, the painting shows that art can build a bridge between different cultures.
