I am Liu Mei. Last Friday, we went to Cloud Park. Everyone was excited. We took buses to the park.

The park was beautiful. Flowers were everywhere, and birds sang in the trees. First, we had a picnic on the grass. My friends and I shared sandwiches, fruits, and juice. After lunch, we flew kites. The colorful kites danced in the blue sky like butterflies.

Then something bad happened. Mingming, a boy from Class 3, saw a tall tree and wanted to climb it. "Look at me!" he shouted. He climbed up the tree quickly. But when he reached the top, he couldn't get down. "Help! I…I can't get down!" he cried. Our teacher, Miss Li, ran over. "Don't move, Mingming!" she said. She asked two workers to bring a ladder(梯子). Slowly, they helped Mingming climb down safely. Everyone was happy in the end!

Miss Li told us, "Adventures(冒险) are fun, but safety always comes first. Never climb trees or do dangerous(危险的) things!" Mingming's face turned red. "I'm sorry. I won't do it again," he said.

We played games until the bus arrived. On the way back, we talked about the day. It was a wonderful trip, and we learned an important lesson: ​Fun and safety go hand in hand!

My family loves camping. Last Saturday, we planned a trip to Green Hill Forest. But this time, something unforgettable​ happened!

When we arrived, the sky was cloudy. My father and I started to ​set up the tent. Suddenly, heavy rain began to fall! Our tent got ​wet because we forgot to bring a waterproof cover. "We need to solve this problem quickly!" said Dad.

We ​collected some large leaves and sticks(棍子) to make a roof. While working, I heard a strange sound. A small ​animal — a rabbit was under a tree! It looked scared(害怕的), so I gave it a piece of carrot.

Later, the rain stopped. Mom cooked soup, but the campfire was too ​wet to light. Dad used his ​lighter(打火机) to start it. At night, we saw millions of ​stars in the sky.

The next morning, we went back home. "Even with rain", mom smiled, "we ​solved problems together!" On our way home, we saw a ​fruit shop with many kinds of fruits and bought some for lunch.

On May Day, Lingling decided to go shopping alone(独自) for the first time. With her pocket money and a shopping list, she felt excited.

My Trip to Chongqing

Last winter, my family went to Chongqing, the "Mountain City". We 1 happy to see its famous night lights and try spicy(辣的) food.

Dumplings are traditional Chinese food. On the lunar New Year's Day, most families make a lot of delicious  (dumpling). To make  (they), we can follow these easy steps. 

The  (one) step is to mix the flour (面粉) with water. When the dough (面团) is ready, we can begin to make dumpling wrappers (薄皮). We roll the dough into small, thin and round pieces so that we can cook them  (easy). Then it's time to prepare the filling (馅). Usually, we use meat such as beef or pork, and some  (vegetable) as filling. Remember  (cut) these things into small pieces, put some salt  oil into them and then mix them. 

When we finish doing all these things, we can focus  making dumplings. 

First, put a spoonful of filling in the centre of the wrapper. Then stick (粘) the two opposite sides together. The best shape of dumplings  (be) like a ship. Look! The boy in the picture (have)dumplings happily. Next time try to make dumplings by yourself.
