Hello! I'm Joseph, a 12-year-old schoolboy from Manchester—a city full of buses, cars, busy people and tall buildings. Last weekend, I went on a school trip to a large farm near my city, and it turned out to be the best day of my life!

We took a 40-minute bus ride to the farm. When we arrived, a friendly brown dog ran over to greet us, and I was amazed by the sight of green fields everywhere—nothing like the crowded city I live in!

First, we visited the grass field. There were hundreds of sheep eating grass, and I saw a baby lamb staying close to its mom. That was so cute! At dinner, we had crispy pork chops, juicy beefsteak, and fresh farm milk (which tasted so much better than city milk). The food was so yummy, and it made me feel really close to nature.

As the day ended and we rode back to Manchester, the streets felt louder and busier than ever. I didn't want to leave the farm—where everything smelled like fresh grass and happiness. It truly was the best day of my life, and I will never forget it.
