How to improve memory

It's common for students to feel held back by their memory. We can't control the memory we're born with, but we can improve it over time. Here is some advice:

Repetition can help you remember information for longer by studying in shorter, regular sessions over time. So you can create a study timetable that breaks down the learning into manageable parts. 

Active learning

Discussions and teaching others are good for active learning.  This process deepens the understanding and memory. You can also apply what you've learned in real life to reinforce（加强）your memory. 

Memory tricks

You can use rhyming（押韵的）phrases or songs to make information more memorable. For example, you can use a popular song to memorize a list. 

Increasing blood flow to the whole body, especially the brain, helps sharpen your memory. So try some physical activities like jogging. It boosts blood flow to your brain and promotes the growth of new brain cells, helping you stay fit and sharpen your memory. 

A balanced diet

So you should mind your diet. Foods like walnuts（核桃）contain omega-3 fatty acids that support brain health. You should also include vitamin-rich foods like leafy greens in your daily meals to support brain health and cognitive（认知的）function. 

Making waves: Two sound wave experiments

Can you see sounds? Of course not. Sound waves are invisible. You can only hear theml They travel through the air and make your eardrums vibrate（振动）. You can get an idea of how sound waves vibrate your eardrums by trying these experiments. 

When you tapped the pot, you made sound waves. They made your eardrums vibrate. (That's why you heard the tap!) The sound waves also made the plastic wrap vibrate. The vibration made the rice hop（跳动）。

Your finger makes the glass vibrate. The vibration sends sound waves through the air to your ears. When the glass vibrates just the right way, you hear a clear, pleasant tone. 

Of course, you can't see the sound waves the glass makes. But look inside the glass. The vibration of the glass makes tiny waves in the water. Can you see them near the edge of the glass?

Add more water to the glass and try your experiment again. Then try it with less water in the glass. What do you hear?

PART THREE (Thornfield Hall)

One afternoon I walked to the village to post a letter for Mrs Fairfax. It was winter, and the weather was very cold. There was ice on the road. As I walked back to Thornfield Hall, I heard the sound of a horse on the road behind me. I stood aside to let the horse go past. The rider did not see me. He was a stranger with dark hair. Suddenly the horse slipped and fell down on the ice. The man was lying in the road. As I ran forward to help, he struggled to get up. 

"Are you ok, sir?" I asked. 

For a moment, the stranger was not able to answer me. Then he looked at me in surprise. 

"Can I do anything to help?" I asked again. 

"You can stand on one side while I catch my horse, " he replied. 

But the horse managed to get up by itself, and I realized that it was the stranger himself who got injured. He tried to stand up, but his injured leg was hurting too much. I helped him to get back onto his horse, and he rode away without thanking me. 

" Who is he?" I asked myself. " He is not very handsome and not at all polite, but he looks interesting: I-would like to know him. "

When I arrived back at Thornfield, everyone was very excited and busy. I asked Mrs Fairfax what was happening. 

"Mr Rochester has returned, " she said. "But he may go away again soon. He wants to see you and Adele, Miss Eyre. Go and put on your best dress. He will see you after dinner. "

After dinner, . I look Adele to see Mr Rochester in his room. When I entered the room, I stopped in surprise-and stared at the man who was sitting in the chair. It was the man who had fallen from his horse. The interesting stranger was Mr Rochester!

Communication is the bridge for hearts and minds. In our daily lives, we communicate  various ways, not only through words but also through body language. For example, a gentle pat can offer comfort better than long speeches.

Tom used to be a student who seldom communicated with his parents. He thought they wouldn't understand his worries, he always kept his thoughts to himself. One day, his mother noticed that he looked . Instead of asking him questions at once, she sat quickly beside him and patted him gently on his shoulder. This warm  made Tom feel encouraged. He decided to open up to his parents about not the test. To his , his parents didn't get angry. They listened carefully and offered him help. Tom that communication can really solve problems.

Now, Tom talks to his parents more . He understands that sharing feelings is important. Sometimes, we need the courage to speak out, and sometimes,we need to be good listeners.  Good communication  are useful tools for everyone. They help us build strong relationships with others. Remember, a true friend is someone you can communicate with easily about .

AI isn't just for phones or games——— it's becoming a helpful tool for protecting endangered animals!Scientists are using AI technology to watch over and save animals like pandas, elephants, and sea turtles.They set up AI cameras in forests and oceans to help protect wildlife. These cameras take photos and videos of animals without disturbing(打扰) them. Rain or shine, the cameras work well.

The smart AI sorts pictures, counts the animals and even tells how old they are and whether they' re healthy. For example, it can tell if a panda is growing well or if an elephant gets hurts. This saves scientists a lot of time compared with checking every photo, making wildlife protection more efficient. InAfrica, AI follows elephant groups and tells park workers about hunters in real time. When hunters get close, park workers can act quickly to keep the elephants safe. In the ocean, AI studies underwater sounds to find sea turtles' nesting spots(筑巢地点). ▲     It can also help study how animals move,predict(预测) where they' ll go and help protect their homes. AI also helps find hard-to-see animals like snow leopards. It can find them in snowy mountains where people can hardly reach. AI makes wildlife protection easier and more helpful.

In our community center, there is a special wall called the"Kindness Wall". It is not made of bricks or paint, but of hundreds of colorful sticky notes sharing warm stories. This special wall was 1 last year by a 12-year-old girl named Lily.
